  1. Sounds like a sticky thermostat... However mine (33) sits on 75 when its freezing here, 5 and below. And takes 15 mins of highway driving to get there
  2. Certainly. wirings ok so long as you dont pressure blast into electrical goodies. the caustic degreaser doesn't touch most plastics.

  5. Yes, Im not submerging it in the stuff, spray on, hose off. Works well on all alloy motorbikes too. If you left it on for hours it may corrode.
  6. by far the best for removing oil grime off an engine iv found to be the $2 a can caustic degreaser from reject shop/coles/woolies etc

  9. If you have a ecu with pwm outputs you cant go past the aquamist kit. Bit pricey but worth it
  10. Some injector brands are louder than others. Like xr6t at idle all you hear are the injectors, very loud. Provided one isn't ticking louder than another you should be fine
  11. I should have added when the cars running. I think it'd be up there tbh, mine runs 14.2 i think and its getting lazy too. Your right on the money with the battery alone voltage
  12. Im running that on my 25, so you might get it where you want with the e85 and that setup id say
  13. Iv got a 1.05 rear on mine, now that I have WMI we'll wind it right up, but im going back to a .83 as its only pulling full boost at 5k. hoping to get it down under 4500. I love the lag, but a little less will be good
  14. I think you'll find the ticking if it is a light and consistent tick will be injectors. Idle and start sounds like a problem with the tune. 1000rpm idle is fine, even a tad high...

  17. Finally sorted! Running slightly lighter 3 inch tube and 21r uni's, we have a good result so far. So many combos and different things and this is where we got to. Still rated well over 600hp and not alot heavier than stock, cant say enough good things about the level of service from Hardy Spicer in Newcastle and the persistance to get this right.

  19. Another thing, it was discussed earlier in the thread about the legality of WMI setup, but to no result. Can anyone confirm if its legal to have in your car in NSW??????
  20. Weeks is one thing, my car can sit for over a month without moving, let alone using all the water/meth. Iv read somewhere it goes to jelly consistency
  21. Also, who is running just water? And how long can water/meth be mixed before it goes 'off'?
  22. 120's too hot even for an ester synthetic oil, 100 is safe, over that, fit a cooler
  23. Im inland a couple of hours from newcastle, and that being the closest place with e85, and my trips being long, and the cost on new ecu + bigger exhaust, injectors, fuel pump, tune etc this is my best and by far cheapest option
  24. With any luck its heat seized and will all need polishing, not gaulled up and munched.
  25. Buying the aquamist kit with the failsafe system, it reads off ecu not boost activated. Hoping to get alot more out. E flex is nowhere to be found yet! this sounds like the answer
