FYI - the group buy price is around what i paid delivered to AUS via EMS last year - when the AUS dollar was much better.
It's a good bit of gear - fitted well. However, it takes a bit of work with a cordless drill to remove all the rivets from the old brackets. RB supply new stainless rivets in their kit - but i recommend using stainless bolts instead - much easier to remove later :-) for any reason.
RB motorsport do a decent set out of the UK for ~$550 dollars delivered.
Be aware that any kit takes a bit of work to fit, as all the rivets needs to be drilled out of the existing brackets/diffuser - i recomand replacing them with bolts.
Paul's Diemer's are polished stainless that has been laser engraved and the R is hand painted. Any laser engraver should be able to do it.
Tomei's is machined from billet aluminium and the colouring appears to be annodized, but i'm not sure how they have done that.
Just some epic oil leaking problems - caught it before the engine starved thank god... but motivation has been extremely low lately to finish the car and i'm looking for a house...so the current thought trail is too pull motor+go fast bits--> sell shell --> buy house-->find something to put motor in
How's yours going? havent been on the threads very often lately.
running hardblock to bottom of the welsh plugs. n1 pump (no underdrive) & 50mm radiator. No cooling issues at all with street driving, car warms up quicker, but normal temps are the same as before engine build
is that an evasive way of saying no other service stations have spare tanks?
i think it's great that it's finally here....just wish it wasn't about 90mins out of my way :-/
plus the ecu, boost controller, exhaust etc.
Most of the parts you need, you should be able to borrow off people - It's just the labour time that will be costy - unless you can do it yourself.
