  1. yeah thats the one i was talking about sorry. but yes, pot holes have formed in pot holes on that road
  2. I don't think it would take that much coin, its a bit of a hole (sorry matt :-) At least were multiplying lol. Adam - please provide pics :-) Ant, As for buckets way, it's been a few years since i've driven it, but it shouldn't be any worse then the lakes way and my gtr doesn't bottom out on that so it should be all fine. I'll make some phone calls over the weekend and see if someone can give me a condition report.
  3. Yeah.... Right.... Blame the auto correct lol
  4. bloody hell Anthony :domokun: let me know if sale falls through
  5. righto, Some ideas for potential crusie routes: Possible route 1- Newcastle to Coolongolook via buckets way and old pacfific hwy - lots of spagetti road - round trip ~250km The plan would be to meet at ~10am and cruise along the route and arrive at ~1pm for lunch at the salty dog cafe. Possible route 2- Newcastle to boomerange beach via buckets way and lakes way- more spagetti road - round trip ~280km. The plan would be to meet at ~10am and cruise along the route and arrive at ~1pm for lunch at hueys at blueys pizzeria possible route 3- Newcastle to singleton via maitland vale road - mmm spagetti - round trip ~180km The plan would be to meet at ~10am and cruise along the route and arrive at ~1pm for lunch somewhere (need suggestions) possible route 4- Newcastle to Fingal Bay via Anna bay - good views - round trip ~ 130km The plan would be to meet at ~10am and cruise along the route and arrive at ~11:30 for a BBQ lunch (need to confirm facilities) next to the beach along marine drive Feel free to comment, make further suggestions...
  6. for that price it wanna be lol
  7. yeah ill plot those and a few others and we will have a vote or something in a EOI Sounds like a good plan - Perth airport has a few bars inside though :-) should be getting wasted in vegas sometime early next year
  8. lol. but plenty of torque i bet.
  9. yeah i remember it, someone else had one aswell. I'll dig em up and plot them both. I gota 4hr wait at the airport tonight ... so i'll do it then.
  10. that sucks mate...was it dodgy flex or dodgy 98? lolz
  11. Something about a rb26 in a silvia makes me feel all warm inside.
  12. lol - yeah thats a good point about fuel consumption still sorting the suspension or something else playing up?
  13. If no one has one, take it for a drive to Hunter Thomas Automotive, they have one. On a seperate note, i've started maping a few possible cruise routes on a map (will upload when i have time) - whats everyone's thoughts on length - i.e. i was thinking keep it under a 300km round trip?
  14. if your arfter a bit more kick, why not just get some -5's? you have good supporting modes in place and they will just bolt up to your current setup. would be a cheaper option then going single. single would require new intake piping, exhaust manifold, dumps and front pipe etc. If your keen on the single route, i see alot of people getting good results with a t04z
  15. Cool photos matt, i see the Ant's GTR featuress predominatly (with good reason :-)) I was tyring to work out what was coming out of the wind sheilds of the corrola until i relised it was the RC car (i wasn't there for that) lol
  16. Don't forget the neons... Pull the guages apart and change the backlight LED to a purple one.
  17. ^^^rods would be fine with -5's, but pistions & ati/ross balance and a full balance would be good investment. Also do a bit of research on the n1 oil pump - Some people have had trouble with them, some haven't - just enusre you know the limitations of the rb oil pump deisgn and why they fail before selecting one (personaly, i recommand nitto - they pump everything from oil to crank casing :-)) Some varible cam gears would also be a good investment. Edit: saw you had poncams down - good choice
  18. Yeah, there's alot of ppl with empty walllets after looking throught that catalogue Better add mine, Nismo short shift kit nismo radiator cap nismo cold air intake nismo oil cap nismo oil cooler nismo n1 vents nismo brake master cylinder nismo injectors nismo clutch master cylinder nismo suspension link components (various - not complete set-up though) nismo gearbox mounts nismo engine mounts nismo fuel pump and soon to have nismo mfd v2 Probarly a few more that i've missed...
  19. black box is normal there - no idea what its for, but its on mine too. i've got something similar under my seat too - been meaning to check out what it is - i'm away for work atm, but i'll check when i'm back on wednesday.
  20. 2 yrs, 3000kms and i'm yet top be pulled over (albiet only about 100kms of that has been between the hours of 6pm and 6am) - touch-wood I think alot of it has to do with the hours you drive and where - if your driving it 3am in the morning in the middle of a night club district, your probarly going to get pulled up. But i also beleive the cops would not distinguish between a 34gtr (lets be honest, usually drivin by older more mature drivers due to the price) and a normal skyline (which unfortunatly a small crowd has given a bad name on the roads). I dare say alot of cops wouldn't know the difference - they just see hoon car. however, +1 on getting your number plate changed - you don't know what the last owner got up to in the car or done for a living and as indicated above, the plate could be flaged by the police.
  21. I think eveyone has woken up with some sort of injury after a night on the piss at one point or another. all part of the fun i guess... I hope she's alright and no permanent damage
  22. how's the hangover Martin?
  23. righto, fair enough, The owners manual is still avaliable on the Haltech website, it may be just best to line up the e6k and platnium manuals next to each other and work out the differences. If you do, post up what you find - someone might have the same question in the future
  24. If it's working, y spend $1k+ changing it?
  25. Its good to see someone else is in port hedland from Newcastle. is yours the red r33 i see every so often? I thought the shell up here had 98?
