  1. For who he gets his paint off. youtube give's some good instructions.
  2. No worries - i was looking for the same thing the other day so i new where they were. Give Paul a ring, from what i've seen the guy he uses is pretty spot on.
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/138419-nissan-paint-codes/page__st__0 Paint codes ^^^ paint code on the one above is AH3 - i assume the number is in the same positon for GTT's Also a useful link http://www.users.on.net/~goofyhsk/info/chassis_plate.html
  4. Lol - just asking as I may buy another (sacrificial) one in the future. It's a little annoying when you drop something in the engine bay and it don't fall out the bottom.
  5. Is yours a copy of the stock one or does it extend further back? (mines not stock - it goes back to the fire wall) On the gtt i believe you need a gtr bar & lip to fit the diffuser...which then requires a gtr bonnet and front fenders - not really worth the effort. I'm sure i've seen a gtt bolt on diffuser somewhere though..
  6. Exactly Only takes 5 mins to drop the front diffuser, which i found was usually the clearence problem most of the time.
  7. should do it jayson, I'm keen to check your 33 out after the pics from lowdown.
  8. sorry mis understood your post Anthony, I think half the point of these events is the social aspect so i rekon keep the booking no matter what, people can just choose if they bring there "special" (for lack of a better word) car on the day if its raining.
  9. Weather won't deter me :-), but i'm going to rock up in a work car :-(. I think its a bit early to make a decision - maybe just let people know to check here on sunday morning and postpone it then if need be.
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/84208-wheel-sizes-offsets-for-skylines/page__st__1670 quote: Skyline model = R34 GTR Wheel diameter = 19" Wheel width = 9.5 Wheel offset = ET2 Tyre size = 265/30/19 Modifications to fit =None Lowered on Nismo S-Tunes, slight rub on the front guards when on full lock and also on rough road surfaces if 9.5's rub then 10.5 you will have issues
  11. thats crap mate, luckly you got to it quickly before it could do any harm. Still sucks though.
  12. if your going to use it on the track, just go with the 18x10.5's - why do you care what it looks like as long as its performing...you could always grap a 2nd set of rims (say 19x9's) for street, that way you can have a dedicated set of track rims with slicks.
  13. double post
  14. on behalf of Martin
  15. i did the other day about the diffuser lol. I'll upload them for you if you want. You can use photobucket.com to upload images --> create an account (free) and then just follow the prompts. it gives you a url that can be pasted into your posts.
  16. any pics Martin?
  17. Thats your opinion and i gave mine. And just to clarify, yes i should have said that 33/34gtr its perfectly legal for wet cell in the boot, however as for other cars/skylines that have had a conversion done, it is not.
  18. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/402368-34gtr-battery-recommendations/ and here's Ash's comments...sorry Ash... but this is like your view on the n1 pump saga, a couple of bad experiences doesnt mean there a crapy item....it comes done to how you use them.
  19. Nothing wrong the Odyssey batteries, the last one i had lasted over 11yrs (accroding to the build tag)...same as any other high quality battery...they just don't like been left for long periods without a charge...again the same as most batteries. I replaced my Odyssey with another Odyssey (although i went for the PC12xx) Be careful with placing a normal (wet cell) battery in the boot. For one its illigal without ventilationa and 2, if it leaks it could cause a fire = no more gtr. as terry, Ant and others stated, trickel charge is the way to go.
  20. im sure there will be enough HP there on the day to ensure you arrive at the hospital in a timely fashion, Congrats :-)
  21. all instructions and software is avalible for download off the haltech website. Silly cheap for an excellent ecu. GL with sale
  22. Different subframe on the gtt, so they apparently don't fit straight up. I'm not sure what modifications would need to be done to fit. Mine is currently off my car if you want to check
