but bore and stroke are the same with the older (r33) series engines which limits RPM... so im still in the dark here

lots of companies make strokers for various engines. I understand tomei, hks, jun and other companies make strokers for RB20-26 engines, 1-2jz engines and various other ones. Biggest difference alot of people have noticed is that the engine has more torque. I'm really not sure wether this is the case but it does make sense with the slight increase in displacement. I'm sure there would have been people on the forums with a stroked engine.

Apart from the neo VCT, what kinds of differences are there with the R34 turbos? There seems to be a massive difference in engine power potential between the 2 cars. Someone help???
