Hi can anyone tell me if the r34 skyline was recalled for a faulty bonnet latch, because mine failed at 100 kph not good!Any help on this subject would be great

hi there all I have an r 34 which i was driving home from work when the bonnet flu up, and yes it was down proply, so i was wonderring if anybody out would know if there was a recall on the r 34 skylines for faulty bonnet latches, i ask this because i have heard of other cars being recalled for that reason, so was i just unlucky or do i need to do something more. Any help would be great
