  1. Actually mate, it is funny. I could afford any set of wheels I pretty much wanted bud, in fact, one of my engines could buy your whole car..... I run 16's and 17's because thats what most race tyres are made for. 20 inch + are for homos, unless you own an R35

  5. +1, Great car. Paid $400 for mine with rego. I dont get spending 20K on an NA car, especially on P's when your more likely to f*ck up, can get a turbo 33 for 10...... At the end of the day, 2nd hand cars aint worth shit, better off getting a $2000 shitbox (like most of us started in) and saving the cash for house and better car down the track. My 2c anyways

  8. Hey mate, welcome to the forums. What you wanna do is go down the wreckers, pull one off an R31 yourself (easy) and dont pay any more then 50/60 bucks for it, any more your gettin robbed. Cheaper buying a whole dizzy from wreckers then it is to buy a new Crank angle sensor (im guessing thats whats gone in it, cranks but wont start?) Out of all the 2nd hand 31 Diz I have bought from wreckers over the years, only 1 had a dodgy CAS which I took back and swapped for another.   11. As some would be aware there was a hit and run on the coast early this morning. The victim is one of my younger brothers best mates.   12. I reckon Engine mount. Does it also thud when you let off? (ie Let off gas before changing into 2nd) Changing engine mounts is easy, Jack up front, support car on stands Jack up engine just enough to take the weight (Make sure you have a nice piece of timber to go between sump and jack) Out with old in with new EDIT: this if for most cars, I just noticed you are godzilla powered, I have never changed a mount on a GTR so you may wanna find some specific info regarding that mate. (knowing how fun they are to work on lol)

  19. More info needed buddy. Does it stall as soon as you apply accellerator when standing still? does it run any good sometimes? think of all symptoms it is showing.
  20. +1 For Evo. Properly set-up, they shred. GTR + cheap just doesnt economically work, especially in a 32 which should have oil pump, sump and shit done before it goes near a track.

  23. VS GTSR is Holden powered. Not Chev Also IMO built 26 @ 10+ K RPM sounds much better then most V8's, but not short stroke boosted ones.

  25. I have little doubt its an N1 if the owner said so. But as I said, oil return is a bigger issue in a rebuilt 26 then what block is used. 1000 HP can be cracked on a standard block, if it has proper oil mods.
