  1. From my phone so poor quality but - this level of light with the blue neon reflection made me excited. Will add a few more later.
  2. Brilliant night. Regretably had to leave before question time but feel very privileged to hear Fred and Jim speak so candidly. Thanks to the exec and trackside restaurant and to our special guests.
  3. thanks for the update dave. Means I'll be leaving Lindfield 130-2pm for a very leisurely drive up the old rd if anyone's interested. Fingers crossed my car will be back on the road by then!
  4. Page 1 refers to a 2:45pm start...???¿¿¿
  5. Thanks Terry. I'll be travelling from Lindfield at around 1230pm and looking to take the old pac hwy from Berowra. Just throwin it out there if anyone else is contemplating the same
  6. ditto...I'm good for it and busting to unleash the new power.
  7. Guys are we encouraged to drive our skylines to this event and if yes is there a convoy/cruise of sorts planned?
  8. Congrats Garry, Jack and all the boys at TSI on the service centre. Will try and pop past before heading for the Central Coast at about midday.
  9. 1994 R32 GTR - probably with 1,000,000kms but 98xxx on the clock Setup before: Cat back exhaust Pod filters 100k service N1 waterpump 12psi through stock turbos 213awkw Setup 2 weeks ago: Garrett -7s GReddy dump pipes GReddy front pipe into existing 3.5" exhaust HKS 264 camshafts HKS camgears HKS fuel rail HKS fuel regulator ID 1000cc injectors New fuel pump Vipec plugin ECU Eboost solenoid controlled by ECU Koyo 53mm radiator 320awkw at 18psi with clutch slipping Track day at Eastern Creek 30/10/2011 - clutch was finished before I even got to the track slipping like crazy from 4500rpm in 3rd and 4th gear. Coilpacks and spark plugs weren't up to the job either. Setup now includes new clutch, new plugs and splitfire coil packs. High boost tune to come once clutch is run in Edit: WTF is going on with computers and the internet this morning???
  10. The camera you were using is a Contour - Pro HD version I believe. I also use a Contour GPS which is the model below the Pro but still fantastic in my view. To make a video like the one I've posted above is soo easy (although I haven't got the sync completely spot on, it's very easy to change) with a program called Dashware - all the data you see there came from within my little camera. I got mine from USA a few months back when the dollar was at about $1.05 US - just under $350 delivered with a suction mount. Not sure on pricing now. Good bit of kit. Get one Mark!
  11. Shitty video as promised. Most noteworthy is the EMO spinning at approx 6:20
  12. Awesome. Now to find a money tree. Can anyone change a clutch for me in exchange for beers???
  13. Wasn't ready for this one hahaha
  14. If I can get my car sorted in time (clutch and spark) I'd love to get down for a Thursday hit out. Fatz from your experience how many participants get out to a speed off street day?
  15. Has anyone got access to any pics from the WRX Club site??
  16. Is that a Thursday?
  17. if there is a prize I'll take some splitfire coil packs and a clutch please. 320awkw now and no spark and no clutch
  18. The best R32 GTR I have ever seen, more impressive in the flesh than in photos. Good luck with the sale!
  19. no go on that link for me bob...
  20. Definitely still dazed and confused this morning - missed at least 5 turn offs to get to the Creek, tipped my toolbox over the pit garage floor the second I unpacked it from the car, and missed a red flag at one point. Throw in a 50% power increase, same shitty tyres, clutch slipping at 4500rpm in 3rd and 4th gear i.e. the sweet spot out of corners, some serious spark issues from the end of the second session AND the fact it was my first time round the track - interesting morning! I was pretty stressed about the sheer number of entrants gregor - thanks for the offer for the battery triangle and acknowledgement of my levels of commitment - is there a kumho prize for that?! thanks also to Michael for the superbly crafted silver backed triangle that I went with and to Ben for making me at least look the part with a raceloglaptimer thingo stuck on my windscreen. My contour video is a bit of joke with bad sound (also had me windows open whoops) but captured one spill ahead of me into turn 11 - will post up later.
