*more with the stupidity and jumping mods* with a current stock exhuast will there be any power increase if the stock dump + front pipe was replaced with a 3" any1 have this done before?

just threw in a turbosmart bleed valve yesterday afternoon - was quite humid day so left it to midnight until me and my mate went to tune in the psi 1st gear running on 10psi while 2nd & 3rd gets 9-10 psi 4th goes to 9-10 psi but drops to 8 psi yep ibleeded my bitch to 9-10 without any mods, YEP NO exhuast just K&N filter performance? - yep 1st gears kicks in harder and i can feel the car pushing harder at high revs. what are my chances up agaisnt a stock gtst with 3" CAT back not boosted (7pis standard) will i eat ihm alive or shall it be close? gonna arrange a run with him this weekend ;o wish me luck

hah last night my mate said we should unplug the hose that goes into the factory bov and block it off so we get the 'flutter noise', well it did give the flutter noise. but this morning when i drove my car and i realise the difference, it is slower. 1st and 2nd gear takes longer to hit the high rev marks and also the pull has dropped. i was wondering this myself this morning, thought it may have just been myself ;

what do you mean by, "for a free mod just wire it so its always on asa temporary solution.." ? as in just a standard bleed valve? thx

its logical to put exhuast on first, and previous replies say why. Just want to get an idea of the side affects of actual people that have stock and no exhuast but bleed valve, their experiences.

any more idiots out there? i want to join yous all more boosted ppls out there without exhuast?

cmon all you 'Pure stock' people where are you!?

A lot of people blab on about how their gtst are 'stock' yet they have 3inch exhuast. Really is this stock? Can you compare a pure stock vs a stock + 3inch exhuast? the car with the exhuast will win provided both drivers equal skill level. i have a pure stock nothing done expect a K & N filter. Yet i've bet many other stocks with 3inch exhuast. Shit driver? probably. Any way my MAIN quesiton is, has anyone here who are PURE STOCK boosted their car with bleed valve. YES pure stock NO exhuast but boosted say 9-10psi? ANYONE?
