Have you been to the Toy Shop in Beresfield that looks like a good palce for parts??

I brought a car form NSW when still living in Adelaide. Its a simple procedure and it was a different shed then were the defects get done at regenecy and all they do is check that the Vin number is correct and they didnt even look over my car. They just gave me the new paperwork and I was on my way. very simple I also wait till my nsw rego had run out as a pain to try and get whats left of rego back need to write a letter and all sorts....

i like your style talk the police into bordom and then they let you go i love it . To the guy who got jacked sorry mate it sucks we had heaps like this in adelaide and all you can do is take it we have even tried to get a enginer to go through and re write the defect book and only was successful with a handful of mods allowed. I would say that for one thing to screw over a person who is passing through or just moving to NSW with a defect is not really what the police want but if your car is spastic with defects then well that will depend on the police officer to weather or not the sticker is placed on the window . simple rules to follow if you have defectible parts and are going to have the police on your arse then get rid of them if they are out of the way and are not like a external wastgat etc then you may be ok . It may help alittle with the out of state lic and rego but it wont get you out of everything . my two cents ((( andrew)))

Yeah you can but its alot of paperwork for them to do so most of the time dont bother...But I have also heard once you go back to QLD can pull sticker off as both states dont talk to one another so wouldnt come up on there computers... But do you live here and havent changed plates over yet?
