  6. Entry Forms and Supp Regs are up for the December 12th Race Meeting at Oran Park GP. Entry Form Sup Regs Hope to see some of you there!!!Going to be awesome If anyone is not sure about grid racing and has wanted to give it a try for awhile then this is the perfect day for you to come and try it out...It's cheap, its fun, you will learn loads and will be apart of history as one of the last race meeting to be held at Oran Park on the great GP Circuit!! We have a few interstaters coming aswell...So dont be shy come and try door to door racing Any questions please dont hesitate to ask me
  7. Wow Ivan, you have some guts if you want to start grid racing straight up...It's a pretty nerve racking experience first time off..Not sure you are understanding the difference between proper door to door racing or just peddling a car around the track as fast as you can go! There are club level race series that you would be able to get involve in....The main cost like the guys are saying is your car.. There is also licencing, logbook, racing apparel and most door to door racing requires the car to have a full roll cage so would be hard to have a steet driven car that you race..I reckon if that was the way you wanted to go Maybe check out a few race and go kart days and have a chat to people/entrants and see if you can make your mind up which way to go.. Even super sprinting a car is loads of fun without the stress of guarding your position and line. It's an expensive hobby but I wouldnt have it any other way
  8. Nope they must be keeping that a secret at the moment Russman....Who has inside info???Spill
  9. Would you be interested in coming on the 12th Dec to Oran Park Round?? There are lots of jobs..Flagging,Marshalling,Admin...I think you helping in Marshalling could be the go..But all depends on the day It would be great if you came out and then can mingle and meet the people you will be racing with..(You can size them up LOL) I wont be in Race Control this time...have another cooler job to do Oh and I hope this car makes it out...I told Lofty he should come have some fun with us

  13. Ryan, You need Level 2 AASA licence and logbook Make sure you tick Level 2 box at bottom right hand corner on licence form Level_2_License_Application.pdf MRA_log_book_aplication.pdf You will also need to notify Matthew at Wakie that you want to do your OLT on the 12th Dec in Qualifying
  14. Awesome Superlap 2010 being hosted at Eastern Creek Superlap I would love to do Race Control for this!
  15. Ryan will probably need to do an OLT as well if he doesnt have the correct licence...

  18. Cool...Thanks for the link! If NSW goes ahead and I am sure a few of the SAUNSW peeps will get on board to help and enter ..of course
  19. I lol'd
  20. We have submitted a wreaked R32 GTR to autosalon in our SAU display one year to show what can happen in motorsport..It was a crowd pleaser as everyone likes to look at carnage So what show are you starting? I miss SCS..Was a cool show and I even got in Hot4's mag there one year!
  21. No Way Marlin...L2S Link of entry form???? Snowy,Cause you have done so many events including targa you should be able to use that as recognisable experience to just apply for your Racing Circuit Licence.. Or you would have to go on your P's do so many events, be a good boy and get so many events signed off plus officialing at an event so you know your flags and stuff... Should ring CAMS and see if you are eligable for Competitor Dispensation....
  22. Oh awesome! Probably need a National Circuit for the PI race..Not sure Clubman Circuit would be high enough...
  23. haha what event are you doing that needs a CAMS licence? Are you looking at ever doing door to door racing? What AASA licence do you currently hold? Only reason why I am asking all these questions is...There is a way to get your CC, NR or NC licence without having to go on your P's if that's the way you are needing to go..
