hmm would love to see your car at the track..like it would be very similar to our race car..But we have gone all out now with dry sump setup and massive rollcage..Can I ask what ECU and turbos you are running? The dutton is off tap I just did the NSW round in Nov..I think your more of a Superlap kind of guy!!!! Dutton is more orientated on motorkana and hill climbs I was a bummed at the lack of good track time and was pissy 2 x lap dashes.. Classic Adelaide would be awesome I want to do that but just be a navigator for my first time.. You would like the SAU Vic track day they awesome peeps and have good tracks over there will be more than us here in NSW soon with Oran Park closing

Yeah it probably could but would cost you a packed to do it properly I have 2 x standard GTR turbos that are steel wheels and my car make 300kws on 16psi of boost

Its scary on your first time out and you have no idea what the hell to do I still dont haha Looks like there is loads of run off on the track except on the fish hook..The track looks so much like Wakefield Blue32 do you take your car to the Tracks interstate??

Driver training is awesome! I know loads of great fast drivers over here that still get trainers in there car to help them tweak there driver skills and habits..Not sissy thing at all any one that thinks that is a noob! I love the trainers in my car they help me go fast and thats a massive rush If your car is is getting tail happy around corners you are going too fast into the corner. Use your brakes thats what they are for and use them hard Get down to a decent speed and turn in..Smoothness is the key at driving fast, where you look on the track and using your brakes well.... Its hard to explain in a post Im sure if you went out to this day and asked Blue32 or DSTROY to give you a few pointer

Everyone has that Why dont you do some driver training to get your confidence up before you take your car on the track..Mallala is pretty good there is plenty of run off around most of the track so good for newbies...Should see some of the tracks I drive on not much room for error due to the walls being so close. Accidents as in someone hitting you doesnt happen much either..Cause the cars should be well spaced apart and the other drivers if they have a quicker car "usually" are curtious to back off a bit and get around you safely.. Are you guys aloud passenger at any of the track days? I am sure Mallala has days where you pay and there are instructors out there that if anyone is new or needs advice on tracking there car jumps in and gives you guidance?? We have it all the time over in NSW

Yes will void your normal road insurance. I will say on the track days and supersprints I have done for the year I have only ever seen one car come in off the track with damage It is a rareity if you are going out with good people ..

Stock suspension isnt a bad thing if it's in relatively good nick You should try the car out on the track before you get your mods and then you will know what the car really needs if Track work is what you want to get into. I went more handling in my GTR than power..I still havent reached the proper potential of the car with me driving cause my partner gets in my car and driver atleast 3-4 seconds quicker than me..Im still learning to go fast We all have to start somehwere..I do like the White R32 GTRs

What's full boost 21psi? Thats going to be awesome fun this time!! I only ever run 1 bar (14psi) and thats enough for me

You could be surprised..cause isnt it high revs which causes the oil surging not boost?? Blue32 isnt that right But it's all a learning thing tho and what works for you..What suspension has it got?

Thats great then, Just over fill the oil a little, Check your brake pads and put new brake fluid in it and away you go!! Everyone has different opiouns about the oil issues RB26 can have..If you spew out oil over the day just check the level and top it up a bit more...Do you have a oil catch can fitted? Street tyres will be fine if it's your first go just need to get some heat into them

+2 This is good info! I run my GTR with the oil restrictor in the head and I have a normal sump its just baffled.. I still over fill the oil a Litre and half even with all this done and I am only running 280-300kws I dont run an oil cooler as I find the temperatures are not to bad..But it would still be a good idea for me to do. When I first took my GTR I didnt have any of this stuff done to it and I just overfilled the oil and I used semi slicks ..Did you get your car checked over by a mechanic before you brought it? If so I would top up the oil, check your brake pds and fluid and go out and have some fun Wish I was coming out with you guys!
