I think more people would be doing the Speed weekend at Bathurst in Dec with the Bathurst light car club http://www.blcc.com.au/index.php?option=co...7&Itemid=40 It's not the whole track but have heard its an awesome weekend with super sprint and hillclimb and costs around $120 a day Will be hoping to do it this year..just see how Dutton Rally goes for me first

Just had this problem on a mates R34.. I know its a pain in the arse and a bit late now if booked into Morpowa Thursday..\ but we : Took exhaust off to see if it was blocked... it wasnt cause was still idleing shit with it off. He then pulled all the vaccum lines and intercooler piping off and check for cracks, perished lines. He could also hear a air leak like you and eventually found that the O rings on the injectors had perished and sucking in air.. Have you check that the actuator on the turbo is attached correctly? Had them come loose in the past also Good Luck!! these things definately test your patience

Money will only ever filter back it we "the spectator" motorsport enthuiast start telling them what we want, instead of the other way round..There is atleast 500 thousand of us weekend racers..and how many of us will tell the government and facilitys what we need! Wait till Oran Park closes...we only have Wakie and ECR left and have to share with Bikes, Karts, Vintage, other car clubs, national events and the V8's..

I have been learning thats its not just about the V8's... A quote from my mate "You need to know why they have funded the Homebush event. This is only based on my opinion, but I think that the Government’s new Major events portfolio is working towards bidding for the next F1 contract. The only way to steal it from Melbourne is to prove the success of the V8 Supercars at Homebush and then offer this up as an F1 street race, to use what Nathan Rees refers to as the backdrop of the best city in the world. I think Sydney will only ever get the F1 contract if it proposes a street race around Circular Quay to rival Monaco etc etc ECR will never get a look in because of a lack transport/amenity and simple issue like the stench of the tip next door. It certainly does nothing to showcase Sydney." This is also one of the reasons Boof that adelaide goes for the street circuit over Mallala.. Spectators can get to it easy (public transport), the street circuit brings in money. its a great back drop to have the race in the city and the partys afterwards are easier to set up and so is the race circuit.. Mallala would need heaps of cash thrown at it even to get any where near what the street circuit already provides! Why does Mallala have to be so far out of the city Even SA had has atleast 2 race circuits closed over the years even before I was born But this street circuit still does not justify why the proper race circuits here in NSW should not get some funding aswell. ECR will become Australia’s only remaining Internationally (FIA) recognised track and the only race track available to residents in the Sydney Basin with Oran Park closing in 2009/10. I will be starting a petition to try and get some funding at EC! If more people wrote emails and letters to the government and there members of parlimenet in there district explaining there concerns they would/might listen. I think it's crap and disheartened by the government and there lack of hearing the little people voice there concerns! They could use the money better elsewhere like helping out the permernant race facilitys that we can all use.. I wished more people would stand up and stay something.. 31 race circuits have been closed in NSW alone since the 1920's and they think its a good idea to build a street circuit just for the V8's to be used once a year, when the race circuits here in NSW are going to be under even more strain with the closing of Oran Park 2009/10.
