I can understand it closing, but it should be replaced bigger and better!!! All the race tracks are in desperate need of funds and upgrades! Why is Mt Panorama so expensive to hire? Do they want to keep it V8 exclusive? Aww Not cool Huh I got fire up and wrote an email to the radio station! What really needs to happen is the motorsport and car club communitys need to do something about this sort of stuff and stand up and get heard! It's always us little guys that lose out:/

Ask your dad to get you some defensive driving lesson if he reckon's you wont be able to handle a turbo...Heslo was looking at doing this event later this year.. There great fun and you learn how to handle a car from experts at the same time!

Was great fun and worth the 400km trip and freezing cold to do 3mins worth of racing Yeah I just did my third run when it started to rain and choose to put the car on the trailer as was slippery enough with out the hail That's a great time Michele I wanted to try and get into the "20's" will next time and will try out some soft semi slicks as well. I was on the limit of the street tyres! I can't do August as I have a skidpan event on at EC Will try Nov (if I dont do dutton rally) and get Chubbs to come with me..The one in December is the speed weekend! Great Pics, will put up my in car footage tonite, I only filmed one run as I had trouble with the camera Wonder if there are any pics of my car floating around, I did a big flame on my second run up the top of the hill

OMG what an eventful weekend! I think I am hooked on hillclimbs now! The car went really well, I only got 3 runs in before it started to hail and rain.. I did a 32.96 on street tyres and we were all having issues with traction. Greg (Stretch) did a 29.53 and he was having traction issues as well Michelle (Ladybytes) was there as well in her open wheeler but not sure what times she was getting! That thing sounds tough coming up the hill!! I got some good practices on launching the car and by the third run had them nailed. I think I might of gassed the guy out that chocks your wheel for you getting ready for my launch! You were right Harry it's a pretty steep hill you start on..I think I need a switch that changed from 2wd to 4wd so I can do a burn out before the start line! Will definately be doing that event again, I found it exciting and a bit of an adrenalin rush cause there are walls all around you! Bring on December!

Not very - Just standard mods really exhaust,catch can, pod filters (when on the track) power fc and apexi suspension, had the engine out last month for a freshen up and to see what it was like inside I put out around 280kws at 1bar, It's enough for me at the moment cause I want to learn how to the drive the car to it's full extent before adding more power to the mix!

Ok I am probably a noob with this question but...are you suggesting taking the drag car to bathurst? I thought with your last achivement and superlap you would be contemplating "converting" twoogle to a circuit car? Or do you have two GTR's one drag one circuit already?? I just seen that bathurst have a supersprint starting at Conrod Straight finishing at Pit Straight. Would that be from Forest elbow to start/finish?

I brought a "cheap" GTR got it checked out by a mate (mechanic) who actually knew the car at the time.. I knew what I could be getting my self into buying a GTR $5k rebuild if it breaks I made sure the engine and running gear checked out, mine isn't built and it looks great inside and still going strong, the reason mine was cheap was because of the bad paintwork. But I didnt mind cause I always going to get it resprayed..and now have and gone white so look's a later model R32 Get the engine and running gear fully checked out and compression tested..Also find out where the car has been tuned if you can and have a chat to the tuner

If SA started there club this idea would be perfect for end of year get together/Christmas Party

haha yeah not the best I am afraid but have taken the 18's off and now just run the 16's cheaper for the moment Thanks Harry, For my first time will just turn up and have some fun If I am having problem's can tweak it on the day.. All a learning curve for me this year

Good point Paul - I would like to know about setup as well..I can't go all out as my GTR is a daily driver still for the moment But I do have a stupid amount of negative camber on the front..It works on the track for me but not on the general road

I hope to get a spot at the speed weekend in Dec and wanted to get some practice in before then Thanks for your input guy's, feeling a little more confident and going on 18inch street tyres didn't have a clue that most have done this event already! I will be retuning the car tomorrow night as well been a bit funny since putting the engine back in and I need more power in a straight line (but I really need bigger turbo's ). See how me and the car goes. *excited*
