I am doing the ESSES this time , which for my first time should be good. What tyres did you use for the ESSES? I have driven around Bathurst on a normal day and sticking to the speed limit just to get a taste of it and that was an eye opener. Would definately like to try mountain straight after this one, should be ok cause I take it "easy" till I feel comfortable with the track, but in saying that Bathurst feels intimidating... So mountain straight hill climb goes all the way around to Mcphillamy Park?

Very Sorry for dragging up an old thread..but thought an old one is better then starting a new one I am doing this hillclimb..is there any advice people can give me on the mountain? Is it as scary as everyone say's it is? I want to go fast but think my nerves may get the better of me I dont want to hit a wall but dont want to puss foot it either..I guess it comes down to the fear factor? What tyres has people used for this event?? I am think of going on Road tyres 18inch so have plenty of rubber on the road Any Thoughts?

Very Nice Matty!! Does the 31 overhang at the back much? We need the long ramps as well, lucky the GTR front bars have that plastic lip at the bottom cause at least its flex's a bit as rubs when using short ramps
