  5. I got some more goodies from gktech. The rear end of the car feels kinda sloppy and not firm enough for me so i got subframe slip in collars to replace the whiteline pineapples in there already. The guys at Heasmans steering, at the sau nsw tech night held there awhile back said the rear subframe geometry wasnt to bad in the 33/34 chassis, so i doubt i will ever adjust it now, i thought i would just lock it up as firm as i can. I got solid diff bushes as well they may or may not help with the firmness i want but they were at a good price so i thought i may aswell get them too.
  6. I got a fenix 42mm core race series radiator, really impressed with quality of it. I was able to keep the standard shroud with it aswell so that was a bonus The heater core sprung a leak through the week so made for a perfect time to get the radiator in and hook some heater hose up so the heater core is bypassed untill i can find a new one. The radiator in and looking all shiny.
  7. Got a 15 row oil cooler and oil filter relocation kit from just jap to keep the car more reliable without anything going horrible wrong with temperature rapidly rising So hopefully i can get to as many track days as i can without any major issues. It seems to be of pretty good quality for the price compared to other kits on the market, i guess time will tell though.
  8. So after my last track day i found i bent one of my tie rods so i bought a set of kts hardened tie rods with built in 6mm rack spacers they should handle the hard time i give car until the next weak link breaks. After fitting them i found one of the boots on the rod ends was split aswell so i have ordered a set to replace them hopefully they show up before friday so i can put them on before i go in for to have my tyres fitted and an alignment done.
  9. I havnt really driven on any other decent tyres so i dont have anything to compare them too. i would love to get some ad08rs eventually when i get a few track days under my belt and can drive the car better, i doubt these would be anywhere near as good as them. My spring rates are F 9 / R 7 kg/mm. Yeah i have seen the times he has done he is real fast.
  10. Really fark I was gunna ring up tommorrow and book in. Where has he gone too? I have those tie rods that have being sitting in my shed for ages im gunna put in this weekend If you wanna come round this friday arvo or saturday.
  11. So not much has been happening with the car lately with trying to save to get to Europe at the end of the year. but i managed to get enough money together to get some new tyres. i wanted something that didnt wear to fast on the street and still go sorta alright on the track so i got the nitto nt05 in a 245/40
  12. Thanks to everyone involved in organizing the night. It was good to hear the information on setups from the professionals rather then some of the stuff floating around on the net.
  13. i have always curious about what has been done to your car after seeing the awesome times you have done with it. cant wait to see the rest of the build keep it up.
  14. I have gktech arms throughout my car i recommend them very high quality and very well priced. you should have a look at them
  15. does the bride rail need any modifications to fit to your sparco? Whats the eta of when you cant start doing real skids again?
  16. No plan to go any bigger as of yet. i will have to really put the to the test next time i hit the track with better tires but i did find the fronts wanted to lock up more so then the rear. i had to keep swapping wheels from front to back so i could wear the flat spots out. Not anything else i have planned really for it suspension wise. Unless you or anyone else has some suggestions i could look into Yeah i reckon its the best way to go the more reliable it is the more chance you get to enjoy it Thanks mate i really like the look of them aswell. I don't drive it around that much im trying to get it out more often though
  17. yeah its had pretty well all the basics done and its where i want it for now just need new tires as they were letting me down and i found out after the track day they were made 10 05 so well past there use by date. So its time for some nitto nt05's before i head to the track next.
  18. yeah my mates who were in the other sessions took photos of her going around thinking it was me. she was so much faster then me I was the one who spent most of my time off the track though. i found out i have more balls then skill haha
  19. thanks guys i will take it to difftrans then
  20. Has anyone had a diff centre put in there housing done by someone locally that they would recommend? I was looking at possibly taking it to difftrans unless someone can recommend a different workshop
  21. i booked in for a track day at wakefield this thursday so i got stuck into fitting the rest of my parts and changed all the fluids. i put in all my adjustable suspension arms and the brake master cylinder stopper
  22. yeah it should turn out pretty fun, hopefully it will anyway just a small update i purchased a hi octane racing pod filter enclosure hopefully this will keep some of the heat out of the intake.
