So it was towed away today to the car assessors place...but should I push to get it repaired or write it off and get 5,500 back?

Nope never had any smoke or anything before! Drove like a dream and didn't thrash it. Basically parked it saturday night and woke up to that. But any good repair shops that will do all of that for me?

What parts would I be looki g at getting replaced? Just wanna look around at wreckers and need to know what parts I'm looking for

Nope all stock...but some good news insurance is covering cos of the fire & theft so either gets repaired or replaced! Thank god

only recent thing ive had installed was all new sound system from JB hi fi 4 days before it happened. And yes it had a immboliser.

Hey guys, So basically bought my first skyline r33 gtst series 1 a month ago and woke up sunday morning to the pictures attatched. What the F*** happened? Obviously there was a fire in the car and i have disconnected the batery and called insurance. But want to know worth salacaging it and repairing or complete write off? and anyone have any idea how or what happened?

A wierd thing has started happening! Basically I replaced the battery 4 days ago cos rac came cos my battery went flat and they replaced it.. Then every morning since the motor won't start! And then in the arvo I can start it :s. Rac came and said no leak in the battery and nothing outta the ordinary was happening while he tested wen the engine was off. Anything that could explain this?

Hey guys, Bought a r33 series 1 gtst a week ago and went to drive today and realized the speedo has stopped working but everything else is fine. I've switched the engine on and off and still the same problem! What should I do?!

Hi guys, I recently bought a skyline r33 gtst 1995 coupe as my first car and kno zero about cars. But i know i want to get more out of it and have a 2,000 budget to work with. The car already has- Exhuast (f**king loud) BOV pod filter and thats all. But i dont know what i should buy next.. but i do know that i wanna get a less noisy exhaust cos this one could fit a football in the back! I got quoted by the guys at autoworx on the following and my question is am i getting ripped off? or should i source this stuff off ebay and get a mechanic to fit? xforce 3inch turbo back exhaust including hiflow cat $1200 fitted Turbosmart manual boost controller $150 fitted Dynotune set boost and timing $150 Zenzo Pod filter , adapter and bracket $150 fitted Total $1650 , we can do it for you for 1500$ as package deal . Stock R33 is about 190hp at the wheels , this should get between 240-260hp And Greddy front mount intercooler $1200 Fitted What you guys think??? any advice would be good cos im a total noob!
