  1. so i still need to put a oil drain line from the head for the VCT even tho its got one from stock?

  4. also i'm not keeping the VCT, i'm guessing all i have to do is block the oil feed off in the head & thats it? anything else i have to do? it wont stuff the head or anything blocking the VCT off will it???

  6. ok so if i keep the VCT would i have to run another oil drain line from the front of the head like i've seen people on these threads do or just leave this for the drain line?
  7. alright i've worked out that line is the oil drain... in that info guide it says (The Yellow highlight towards the rear of the block is the water return. Water feed is provided from a hose/steel pipe assembly that feeds from the opposite side of the block) MY rb25 block has this blocked off do i run a water line from the other side somewhere?
  8. yeah i know but i'd rather just block it off doesn't affect it not having it much does it?
  9. nar dont want to get the extra work done. there's no need anyways unless i'm running a set of cams i'm only running stock cams atm
  10. oh ok i thought it may of been something like that. so when i block the VCT off in the head (weld or cap) & block that line off is there anything else i have to do involving the VCT or is that it? cheers
  11. i've just noticed on the rb25det there are an extra line from the head running to the block. what could these be used for? & what do i do with it as the rb30 block doesn't have a tapped hole on the block to fit it... here's a pic of the rb25det block with the line>> & here's the rb30 block that doesn't have a tapped hole to fit the line>>
