Just because it turns over out of car doesn't mean it has torque to turn the engine over they do wear out over time and can fail all of a sudden . Check your battery too if that died sometimes even jumping won't work. Scott

Hi guys my 32 Gtr has a excedy twin plate carbon clutch that is showing signs of slipping above 350 kw after 3 months if other issues being tuned. I spoke to jb as I need a clutch to hold 450 kw and 1000 nm of torque, jb is $1295 then I read about npc clutches but havnt spoken to them yet, is jb worth the apparent extra coin? Scott

Nah it's a long running issue he's had similar issues to me even though the setup is tried and tested we have both had nothing but problems, it has to be a balance issue I think if the y pipe being removed stops the problem ? I hope it's all soughted for us both soon I havnt seen my car in nearly 3 months either !

Just get jez to do it while he tuned the new install cause u won't be able to drive it anyway untill it's tuned again

Sounds so similar to my problems , call scottym35 or rotomaster, rotomaster in Melbourne explained and inlet imbalance causing a slight movement of the shafts , maybe my guess is those shit x force dumps which never line up properly putting pressure on the housing which u don't see till y pipe is on thus causing the deformation to be more apparent? My 26 has over 100psi at cold idle and 35-40 at hot idle, n1 pump but 1.5 thou clearance and I have 3 oil pressure gauges just to be sure and a big arse oil cooler. Scott

Sorry guys forgot about my thread, scan came back ok, have EEG in a few weeks and another MRI in December , they hope I can come off some drugs which will be good as these days stuff is pretty heavy. I'm going to psychologist every 2 weeks who wants to give me more drugs blah blah. Cars still not finished, moral to story if having brain surgery don't work on or buy stuff for cars, almost everything I did in those few weeks following either me or jez has had to re do. The car is with him to sort out now hopefully this week I may get some news there . So far 318kw on 16psi but has a hiccup at high rpm we think caused by small boost leak so inlet plenum etc is coming off for reseal
