  1. Problem solved it was ecu we tried nistune and it was perfect, Andy will come to go over car and install 1280 ecu which is direct and not wasted spark thank god for that !
  2. With resister removed ? 1000 are too small for me unfortunately its a big job but I will do it if everything else fails
  3. So following your theory put it back to stock and then what? I need the injectors I have and that's why I purchased that ecu so it could run them , if I run out of other options I can try I guess what your saying but then what just say oh well can't run injectors that many many other ppl can run but I can't?

If you read my misfiring in dyno thread it will explain but mainly looking at you tube and how to guides I expected it to be very easy to get to a basic idle and free rev and it was nearly impossible and I killed a set if turbos in the process not ecu's fault really I was just trying to get it to idle so I could leak check it not to mention the misfiring issue but again probably not ecu if you look at Andy tuning in ve mode it starts first time nice and easy mine was completely opposite
  5. I will ask him to increase it and see what happens in the morning and they were brand new in bag with little Bosch warning label about fuel running through them from seller on here
  6. Another MRI tomorrow but I'd be happier if I could get my car soughted out bloody thing it's fought me the whole way! Looks like its up to me to fix too or sell one or the other

Tbh on my car anyway so far from the beginning this ecu hasn't performed as expected but may be nothing to do with ecu and more setup but for me at least apart from plug and play its as difficult as my haltech e6 back in the day. Andy is great though and in most applications I'm sure it's fantastic
  8. Brand new Bosch ev14 2200 not sure on settings as jez still has it
  9. Hornsby council are ultra strict on in regoed cars they store them somewhere can't remember exactly
  10. I will ask jez tomorrow when I pick up car but it severe up and down in the afr's in a general downwards direction overall

The only thing that isn't new is the nismo fpr, mmm I wonder and I'm a little concerned about seals pushing out under boost even though they are new , intake gaskets are nitto metal which I sprayed hilomar and torqued to spec and have never had issue with these on the last two engines, it turns out stock ecu isn't wasted spark I wonder if that's a possibility?

  14. It was fresh 98 with e85 waiting to go in but he tunes 98 first

As its still at dyno I havnt been as to drive it myself, from 9-11 psi I'm told , only under load so my plan is to get jez to try a nisstune see how that goes failing that do a safe tune so I can get ur home. I'm thinking leak down test first as comp test was perfect , next put 15psi into cooler piping and check each port with inlet valves closed for leaks, possible injector seal issue maybe pushing out under boost as they are not factory seals and are a little small for manifold compared to stock. Next is create a daisy chain from each coil to earth and possibly a relay and direct power from battery. Failing that run new jumper wires from ecu direct to each coil. Triple check injector wires and ballast wire joins. Lastly strip harness rig up a buzzer to each injector wire and sensor wire and somehow apply 12 v at ecu end and listen while moving harness for any changes that may indicate slightly broken wire. It's got me stuffed though it sounds perfect and passes every test except when boost is applied, I really don't want to strip engine down and jez doubts its internal , oil pressure is perfect as is temperature he said slight bubbling in rad after run on dyno but is normal I'm his experience. Other than that sell it on and give someone a bargain but I met my wife in this car so it's very sentimental but with my mental health at stake I can't take much more
  16. Yes and even tried new earths for coils and ignitor
  17. No they are 32 ones off my last engine that worked perfectly

  19. Well now I'm screwed still exactly the same and even Andy from adaptronic has no idea. Tried new coils , plugs, injectors, cams , checked compression, checked cam gears checked all new joins as in ballast resister and injectors , I really don't know what else to do? I love this car and it means alot to me sentimentally but my brain can't take this , I don't think I can pull it out and start again financially or physically

  21. Maybe attend sau cruise or other event and ask nicely to go for a drive but I doubt anyone would let you drive their car but me personally would be happy to take someone for a quick blast as long as its away from my house that is
