  1. Yes I thought if that too but don't have the strength yet maybe in a month or so
  2. I will get a pic tomorrow so is where it is ok? Runs from rear of head to exhaust side if sump but near the bottom under the jun baffle.
  3. Hello again, While my sump is off I kinda thought about the drain installed there. It's been welded into the fins on the lhs towards the bottom. I'm thinking it defeats the purpose really so I did some research some are on the left some on the right ( inlet side) as viewed from the rear. I'd prefer it to be correct but this seems to me that it would push oil up there to the height of the oil in sump and not allow flow. So in after some thoughts , I really don't mind getting another fitting welded if need be while sump is off. Scott
  4. Thanks mate I think what I will do is plasti gauge the new bearings and if I'm not happy then pull the crank out. I will let you know how I end up thanks for the help much appreciated. Scott
  5. Razorback near Camden in Sydney u?
  6. Blow off valves are basically a waste of time but if you already have one that works why change it regardless of who made it? What area do you live in?
  7. Razorback near Camden where are u?
  8. I would take it off but they are so tight the way I usually do it is when it's in car with starter it's easy but out of car it's pretty hard unless I get 3/4 " or 1" rattle gun
  9. Seems I took it wrong way! They say that can happen with the position of my tumor, I just see people so often critisised about punctuation etc i always feel for them.
  10. Sorry mate took it the wrong way.
  11. I was thinking to pull the crank but with harmonic balancer installed I'm not sure how to really go about it. Any tips?
  12. It was trozzle to whom I was referring, I ordered another set from uas, as for $100 it's just not worth the risk due to the work involved it putting these engines in and out. I thought it may be ok though as they are all the same from 1 to 6. Thanks for the constructive feedback guys. Scott
  13. I'm ok just very tired but doing a few hours work on the engine when I can, so far installed metal intake gaskets, did throttle body mod, polished plenum. I also ported exhaust manifold and turned engine over today to inspect bearings. I found them to be blueish in colour so I posted in forced induction forum and got an English lesson by some tool. I a bit annoyed about it to be honest , I am a paid member if sau I contribute daily in non gen y English and these people respond like that? I guess it's enough if my rant I'm off to bed to try to rest. Surgeon is happy with progress though going for follow up MRI tomorrow to look at what the tumor or lack of is up to and the most annoying part is cerebral fluid swelling when I do too much.
  14. Gee if your referring to my punctuation sorry but I'm recovering from brain surgery and regardless this is a mechanical forum not an English lesson. I'm not sure if crank was new or not but oil pump certainly was. Judging people without knowing their circumstance is cruel and silly at best.
  15. Acl plus .25
  16. I can't post pic from phone, bought from another member, 2000kms built by john milentis in Gold Coast , ran penrite running in oil for 1000ks then another penrite semi synthetic I think, r34 crank brand new std oil pump eagle rods cp pistons, jun sump baffle, tomei oil restrictor and external oil drain, it's just colour no pick up and crank perfect. Cam Jounals perfect also.
  17. Hi guys just finishing my build and I took the sump off to look at the inside it has eagle rods and when I pulled the caps and checked clearance with plast gauge it's about 2 thou but the bearing all have a consistent blueing colour to them where the mains don't, is this normal or should I replace them? Crank journals are perfect. Scott
  18. Wouldn't think 17 psi would kill it, what was condition if turbo when u got it? Did u hook oil and water lines up correctly? Doesn't sound good but if your not using water or oil get a good radiator flush and then refill with coolant. If it comes back you need to go to radiator shop and get it co2 tested its really all you can do other than guess. Scott
  19. Boost leak or loose clamp u can't see properly u need to take afm off and make up a connection to compressor I use tennis ball clamp it down and add pressure to it and listen for leaks.
  20. $50 guys 34 nismo fpr!
  21. He's the best got me out of trouble!
  22. Can someone please send this link to vulture Motorsport please? I am using phone only and it would benefit future customers for him to stock or know about this issue.
  23. Where can I get them locally?
  24. Ok so I think I've worked it out, most people use the stock rb26 cushion on the inlet manifold but injector dynamics use a Bosch cushion which are $1.5 ea but $98 freight ! So I guess I will try stock ones.
