Hi All, I wouldn't say I'm new to SAU or the Skyline scene, but I have just moved to Canberra from Sydney & before that Cairns. You might see me driving around the ACT in my daily driver, a R32 GTS4; But, more interestingly, I've brought down my R34 from Brisbane to finish...It's sporting a VQ30DET + T engine conversion, and is being built by myself (with the help of anyone who is willing) in my garage, whilst closely talking to engineers to ensure everything is legal and up to scratch. Mate, You can do it yourself, I just did it last night on my R32 GTS4. Use some good super glue and duct tape and it will hold in place. Cheers.

Very constructive comments...I did the 52mm gauges, but finding decent gauges that come in 52mm for a good price...doubtful. I dont like cheap crappy gauges, each to their own, my car is all about function, and considering the setup I have in my R34, I think it's warranted.

Hi All, Below are my results for a R34 Gauge Cluster install. It was all custom and took around 30 minutes to complete, but around 3 hours to work out how to mount them properly. I used Apexi 60mm gauges, as I found 52mm too small. The focus was on the driver, hence why they face the driver. I also painted all the plastic surfaces 'matte black' - the colour which my car is going to be. Comments welcome.

Pretty average upgrade for the money to be honest with you.

Don't do it. Genuine Branded bodykits have a higher price for a reason - because they did the hard R&D to make these bodykits, rip offs are just that - rip offs.

I would be most interested in this Dan! Love your work with the R34's.

I brought a Y33 VQ30DET then replaced that with the Y34 NEO VQ30DET. Sadly it's in Brisbane though, so a massive pain in the arse to get to you. You leaning towards the VQ30? If so I can try to assist where I can.
