    If you are desperate, speak to a broker in japan and fly over there. Stay a week or two in tokyo, and view all the tokyo, yokohama auctions. Pick your car out, arrange import approval, arrange to get the car shipped here, and fly back. Wait 3 weeks for the car to be delivered, wait another few weeks for compliance and rego and you're cheering

    well over here you cannot have any red or blue colours, because those are emergency colours. But im sure they could defect you for it

    i dont like these threads either. Get insurance and an immobiliser + alarm. Your car is worth 20 or so k, so paying 3-4k per year isnt THAT bad an investment. Good luck finding it

    Pfffft you guys are such kids particularly NICK Akeenan - I will be over in japan over the next 3-6 months, and will also be investing in property here (ps i still live at home ) But i agree. I would personally much rather the gtr over the 350gt. mind you i havent driven either, but in the current state, my 33 gtr keeps me happy, its just getting a bit old

    Or drive it off boost. with my car i managed 450 city kms when keepin it under 0.2 bar of boost. boring as hell to drive. Mind you the other day i ended up going for a bit of a thrash and did 200kms on a tank (whoops) oh and managed to chew up most of the fuel when i was at oran in under 100kms happens when your duty cycle hits around the 92% mark on 700cc injectors

    within the powerfc, drop the injector duty cycle down by xx % remember, it will run leaner across the board (so more knock, perhaps?), but is the easiest way of 'retuning' it without taking it to a tuner ? Anyway, i couldnt be bothered reading all the 3 pages, so it may help ?

    Guys, these cars sell for anywhere between 1.5 and 2.5 million depending on whether its auto or man. That would make the price anywhere between 30-45k ? But since its a dealership selling the car, youd expect some markup

    you dont need to upgrade the actuators. Simply get a boost controller and bleed air off ?

    a track car obviously means a high revving 2.7 -> 3.0 with large twins ? Even then, on slower tracks, it will most likely get munched.

    380aw or rwkw for the gtr would make it pretty unstreetable. How many guys do you know making that sort of power have decent reponse ? With what I have, it sucks. I'll be going gt-ss on the next car, just for something a bit different

    Sounds like someone has been playing way too much nfs most wanted. I may have 300awkw at the moment, but it blows, because the sort of driving i do requires me to have decent power down low. I think I would be happier with around the 250-270awkw with much better response

    I think it also depends on the type of car. If its a gts-t, 300rwkw would be getting on the limit of a tractable car. 400rwkw + would seem to be the limit on a gtr

    So what happens if other things are stuffed? Eg, gearbox, diffs both front and rear, rust spots in different areas, poor or worn interior, exterior, etc. There are a lot of other things that get worn along the way, which you wouldnt normally consider replacing.

    Havent had any problems with mine either ? You will find that a lot of these cars are very much substandard. A lot of these sold in japan for 30-40 ten thousand yen. Cheapies
