  1. They are the same ecu. Try it and see. May not work 100% as it is not tuned for the car you will be putting it in
  2. Ive got a 33gtr and I work in IT. Pay is good, but its hard work knowing where to stop with modding. I have now stopped
  3. Theres always next week And i should be going
  4. I think I may be visiting japland this year (if all goes to plan) Have fun for the rest of the trip Nick
  5. im in. Absolutely love fishing - Jerry give me a bell if you guys are going out at any time
  6. Saw a white 33 gts-t with a CF bonnet around the pymble area And further on a grey 33 gts-t on king georges road
  7. Get some 2530's or GT-RS They are much bigger than the GT-SS and bolt on to all your existing parts. Why go a big single and have the hassle of defects, etc ? Twins will go just as hard
  8. Wouldnt the city and cronulla be asking for trouble (defects?)
  9. 120 degree + and you get an oil cooler. 100-110 is fine (i suppose), and yes synthetic oils are meant to withstand those temperatures
  10. Anytime i order anything from Ritsuko, i make sure to ask him whether or not the item is in stock. If it is, it takes no more than 1 full week before i receive the item. Never had any problems with them, and ive bought a fair whack of stuff
  11. Saw Nick just off the F3 Freeway Cruised and chatted for a bit. Nice to see another gtr out, finally
  12. a replacement pump from nismo/tomei/hks whatever, will pump at about the same as a bosch 044 (600hp?), it will be bolt in, and they only cost around the 420 mark plus shipping Labour = free because you can do it yourself
  13. the 33 gtr seats are a dream. Theyre not rock hard, but still offer plenty of support. Much better than the stock recaro's in type R's, which i think are a touch too hard for my liking
  14. To make it easy, your oil cooler/relocator kit should have in/out specified on the part which mounts where the filter used to be. Its simply just a matter of matching the out of that to go to the in of the remote filter side of things. the out of the filter side of things goes to the cooler, and the other side of the cooler goes to the in of the kit mounted on hte block Not sure if that made sense ?
  15. not really necessary - all it does is hook up to a light in the dash when the temp exceeds whatever amount. I suppose if anything is wrong, its best to know before you blow something. But it wont really affect anything, otherwise
  16. lol I may be there. If you smash the box, how will you do any burnouts ?
  17. 34 gtr's are ball bearing the others are 270 degree or 360 degree thrust/plain bearing
  18. Congrats Brett - Very Impressed But knew you would do it. Ive heard rumours that you are upgrading to a gtr. Is this true. I heard it from Duncan ?
  19. u guys are nuts R34 standard GTR and Vspec 1/2 turbos, Mspec, etc are all CERAMIC turbines. Do your research. The only ones which are steel wheeled are the N1 spec or the Nur's
  20. Im pretty sure since they are all ceramics, they can only last so long at higher speeds/temperatures. The 32 gtr turbos are weaker because they are older than the 34gtr variety
  21. Dude its only the 27th
  22. If you can really get a low 1.5 sec 60ft launch, then i bow down to you. How are you measuring these 60ft times ? One of those meters, or is this at the drags ?
  23. well not really. An SL class merc in the base form is still some decent pocket money. But yeh i know what you guys mean ! Like everyone else has said, stuff up the launch, and you will pay. If you want, I can drive it and get you 1.6 sec 60 foot launches
  24. I know Jerry. I remember you telling me about that GT2. But a C55 Amg is only around the 150k mark. A GT2 is more around the 300k. So very different levels of money being spent. The C AMG is still a C Class merc
