with those mods, if you are a good driver and know how to launch, you should run a 13 flat or quicker @ 106-109mph, as a minimum - thats if you had a power FC. If you dont, you should run a 13 flat as standard at probably 105mph You have not listed a power FC there, so your power will definitely be down. the stock ecu runs it very rich, and as a result your power level will drop. I dont know if the stock ecu will like you running 1 bar of boost ?

Fair enough, I missed the point that they were all rebuilt and tuned to max power. Only saying that - some engines/boost may not be tuned as high due to different compression ratios, based on HG thickness or engine comp ... But this is probably the best comparo possible. But i would still like to know boost pressures run across the board, if at all possible

I feel safer with an alarm. Particularly when your car is targeted outside your house. You hear it for a few seconds, and u run out with a baseball bat. Otherwise they have the whole night to mobilise the car (its easy to bypass pump, and ignition aint too hard either), and drive away

question, where are you racing and what sort of race. If its a race from 0km/hr you should beat him up to about 250km/hr. Anywhere close to or past that, the big V8 S/C should start reelin u in. If its a rolling start and it being an auto, if u start off in the wrong gear, you are gonna get munched

Very interesting. But the fact that each turbo is running at a different psi, its really hard to compare them all. Do you know the peak boost pressures for each ? Cheers

Well you dont know how old the turbos are. every moving part is limited by wear and tear. turbos @ 1 bar spin at around 100,000 rpm. Imagine doing that for 100,000 kms ? They have a ceramic wheel. Whioch will only last so long

gains in putting on the 34 gtr turbos would be minimal. they are not much bigger than the 32 gtr turbos. you may as well get better turbos. Gains in fitting exhaust system plus pfc and a tune could be as much as 60awkw, provided your car is completely stock at the present moment

Thats what ive always wondered How can the inlet temp be lower than the ambient temp ? What the dyno dynamics does, is compensate for the difference, and ramp the power figure differently It is really hard to tell whether they are stock turbos or not, or whether its just a happy dyno. most guys here have made 250rwkw + on stock turbos at 1 bar. Whether or not thats just a happy dyno putting out more, i dunno? Either way, get them checked out. they wont last terribly long at 1 bar ..... maybe

i would go the 33 gtr. Unless of course i could get my hand on a vspec 2 r32 gtr. Fat chance getting one of them tho
