  1. running very rich = shitload of unburnt fuel comin out through the cat = burnt through cat. The cats probably carked it as a result of the turbo upgrade. First thing id suggest is get the damn thing tuned. Thos turbos will have completely different response and power figures compared to stock. I am fitting these turbos also, and as a result, with the expected power figures, am upgrading my injectors and my AFM's. I should probably also upgrade my fuel pump. So yes, before you go driving that thing around any further with a clogged up cat, get it tuned. If you get a new hiflow cat you will probably melt that through also
  2. There are slight differences, and i wouldnt suggest 1x R32 and 1xR33 turbo in your car
  3. Jimbo let me know how you and adam go
  4. Danny, i will call you today Cheers mate Still lookin for another 1 ?
  5. I dont think running two different turbos would be a good idea mate. They do have different specifications. You also should be able to find 2x turbos for much cheaper than $800. Check the forums
  6. Nick, is that at all 4 or at the rears ?
  7. its nice to see that most people have spent between 10 and 20k that makes me feel a bit better
  8. I think i will stop counting after this one I suppose i should probably just factor it all under maintenance Man i love friday afternoon drinks
  9. Interested in rb20 AFM Do you only have the one ? Does it read 'normal' voltages ? Why are you selling (and what are your plans?)
  10. Okay lets start I did this in the following order: Boost controller fujitsubo cat back hi flow cat trust front pipe Apexi power FC Oil cooler dyno tune Still to go in: Tomei poncams IN/EX 260/9.15 Heavy Duty clutch SARD 700cc injectors Tomei sump baffle kit 2x Garrett GT2560R turbos then you have little things like gauges, and oil changes and repairs, labour, gaskets, etc I think it will be close to 11k by the end of the month
  11. This poll is truly just to make myself feel a bit better. How much have you guys honestly spent on your gtr's in terms of modifications ? I think ive just hit over the 10k mark and its rather depressing
  12. The one with the green sticker to suit HCR32, and early model ECR33 I require two of these units. ALSO, if you have any pod filters that fit these 80mm AFM's please also let me know Cheers Tommy
  13. in the doc it says 260rwhp Yet here you mention 260rwkw ? You wont achieve 260rwkw unless you upgrade the turbo
  14. The only goddamn bloody difference between electronic and mechanical gauges, is that in an electronic gauge, the electronic sensor converts the signal from an analog signal to a digital signal, which can then be carried via wires through the firewall up to an electronic unit which converts it back to analog. In a mechanical system, the gauge simply reads whatever pressure level is fed to it. Imagine having a mechanical oil temp gauge - > and the oil line inside the cabin breaks and you get 80 degree oil poured into your cabin
  15. stock gauges are electronic I would use a mechanical boost gauge, but id be tempted to go for an electronic oil pressure gauge
  16. Changed my mind guys For sale still $250 each OR both for $450 Prices are negotiable
  17. Im stealing your bandwidth Cheers mate
  18. Get a single plate clutch with a full face organic or cerametallic compound with increased pressure plate & clamping force on the clutch. At least thats what im doing
  19. pffffft its not even turbo charged

  22. Guys These are the cam gears, not the actual cams themselves. A lot of people have adjusted these gears and gotten great results from both stock and aftermarket cams
