  1. I have for sale 2 x tomei cam gears for all of the rb series of engines. They are BRAND NEW in box, and i think ive only removed one of them to check it out. Reason for sale - Decided I dont want them anymore (ive spent enough as it is) If you need any info, check out the tomei website Im looking at $250 for each gear Cheers Tommy
  2. This is to suit the rb25 ? so it fits onto the standard 80mm RB25 AFM ?
  3. Mate, Looks like im out. Been advised to keep my factory gtr pump sorry
  4. Why didnt you say so in the first place I agree with you there
  5. MMMM Pancakes at the rocks + beer
  6. I am also up for getting tanked Let us know the plans
  7. You mean its cheaper to import ?
  8. These are 65mm units I would buy them, but not for $900
  9. depends how much you want to spend really If you spend 10k, you should be able to easily get 300awkw out of it or thereabouts 4k will net you about 230awkw
  10. When can we get these by ? My cars going in on the 25th of this month and i need it pretty soon ? Let me know
  11. the thread aint pointless All i'm trying to say the chances of you buying an R33 GTR IN GOOD CONDITION for under 30k are slim The chances in buying an R33 GTS-T for 10k or under IN GOOD CONDITION are ALSO slim. Look at all the R32 GTR's that came in. Sure some of them were cheap, ie 9-10k + on road costs, but man they were in absolute SH.ITHOUSE condition Okay, the point im trying to make is very simple. Hell, sure u can get an R33 GTR for under 30k, but it wont be in good condition ! Cheers signing off Tommy
  12. Okay lets try this - > I can import a gts-t skyline for under $10,000 complied and registered What point are you trying to make dude ? What import isnt accident repaired? one that hasnt been in an accident. Why do i want the price in yen? Because all cars originally came in from japan.
  13. Whatever dude tell me the price in japanese yen of cars that you can get that arent accident damaged. Find a grade 3 or better GTR VSPEC for under 1 MILLION YEN FOB. I dont give a toss about kms, because we know all about em. I never mentioned kms. I mentioned accident damaged (relative to auctions) and auction gradings. It has nothing to do with 33 GTR resale values. We all know they are going down. But under 30k for a good one ? good luck
  14. funny how R33 GT-R's came out in 1995 .... hmmm ? I know you can get R33 GTR's for under 30k. If you dont mind an accident damaged one, or one with a shithouse engine then go for it Its not easy to find a good one for under 30k, and i highly doubt it
  15. As per title Im after a good fuel pump (read bosch 044, or any of the brand name ones) that flow more than standard And a clutch for a GTR 33, prefer single plate Id prefer if the items were brand new, or almost brand new. Cheers Tommy
  16. They are different
  17. You've obviously never driven one
  18. here you go english.auto.vl.ru/catalog All the prices are on here. Enjoy I do believe they were something like 5-6 million yen brand new
  19. I know this is off topic But what do you guys think of nathan and grey imports in general ? I think im going to be paying him a visit to do work on my car. Spotted: nothing last night
  20. I know exactly what you mean OZ did you end up fitting that metal headgasket ? Im trying to decide whether to get one or not
  21. bout bloody time !
  22. Nick, Nathan at grey imports commented how nice your clutch really was, but im not sure i have that sort of money to spend. Im leaning towards that clutch from jim berry, at the moment, unless i can get something cheaper that will do the same job
  23. Just called them They advised me not to get what race brakes advised, a meba clutch ? and to get a nismo clutcy type with a single plate button, 3 puk? and a stronger pivot? with a clamping of approx 1450-1500kg? cost $1050 I dont really want to spend that much but at the same time dont want to buy something thats not going to last. Clutches confuse me
  24. Hey guys, Im looking to buy a new clutch for my car seeing as my engine is coming out to fit the turbos and sump baffle. What clutches would people recommend. Im really only after a single plate clutch. I want something that drives like the standard clutch, is light on the leg and is not on/off like some clutches. Ive called up race brakes and theyve advised me to get their clutch which is made up of a meva ??sp?? compound, rather than the organic compound. Clutch cost is $650 ? Ive also called up jim berry, but the price for one of his clutches in a carbon compound is $1050 or something like that, and I do think thats out of my price range. Are there any other places in sydney that do good clutches for under the 1k price, that can handle up to approx 330awkw, and will be used mainly for street, and occasionaly track, and sometimes at the drags ? Cheers Also, seeing as my engine will be out, are there any other things I should get done to it ? Cheers Tommy
