Remote filter should only cost a few hundred. The kit with oil cooler (handy for track work) Will cost approx $400 or so for a china brand kit, or 700 for a brand name. I reckno its worth it

Well Anyway, ive decided to keep the GTR as originally planned. Getting tuned at CRD as we speak. Its nice to see that as of this point in time, the GTR has more votes than the FD cheers

Hey guys I dont know if anyone can help me, but im getting a really annoying noise coming from the rear. It shits me to death Whats happening -> anytime i go over a bump, ill get a noise from the rear. Now its not a squeak. Its more of a 'gas' noise. You know how you drive normally and you get a 'gas' noise coming from the shock as it goes up/down ? Thats what im getting and its fairly loud. I took it in with my mechanic quickly and they said it wasnt the suspension. Possibly a bush or something, but they would have to check Im just wondering whether someone has the same symptoms as this Cheers Tom

go the remote filter i had to get a bloody ratchet to remove the filter. but now i have a oil filter with remote kit, and it takes no more than a minute to unscrew everything

I think you'll be pressed to find a genuine original front lip. Do you want a genuine one, or a fibreglass copy ?

I would need at least an extra 15k on top of the 33 gtr to get something in 34 gtr flavour ! I dont have that sort of money. Still a uni student Hey its nice to see that a lot of people are suggeting I keep the 33 GTR and then get into property. I mean the Rx7 sure is nice and will turn more heads, but most people are advising me against a rotary. Not surprising, seeing this is a skyline forum Cheers guys !!!

is the battery secured ? Try and move the rear of the car up and down to see if it makes the noise

its bad to mix synthetic and mineral oils in your gearbox. Ive been told that once you run synthetic, if you run mineral oil after, you will ruin the gear system. If you read up and do a search on it, you will understand. The synthetic oil beds into the gears, and then running mineral oil will eat away at the gears. Have a read of it, because im not 100% what it was exactly

I suppose the biggest problem is that ive only had it for about 6 months, and ive only just spent 3 or so k on it, and its getting tuned this week at croydon which is another $700 or so ? Ideally I wanted to keep the gtr for two years and then sell it and get into property ....

Well guys, I have a big dilemma! I am seriously contemplating upgrading my car, a 1995 33 GTR Vspec to something along the lines of a series 8 Rx7 RS (280ps). I can pick up the Rx7 for slightly more than my GTR is worth. It would be 5 years newer - my gtr is feeling fairly old compared to the newer styling out there. The Rx7 would still be fairly quick, but would only be RWD in comparison to the GTR's AWD. WHAT should i do ?

How do I adjust the headlights up/down left/right ? Ive looked all through this forum and skylinesdownunder, but cant find a picture of the two screws that everyone is referring in relation to adjustment. Could someone please show me what needs to be adjusted? My headlights are pointing down and I cant see anything when driving at night Cheers

My mate just bought a brand new VZ clubsport as well. As much as i like it, being a new car and all, and having low down torque, i much prefer my car. I dont have power from 1500rpm like the 6L commy, but mine starts to pull at 2500rpm. And it goes all the way to 8000rpm, the commy only goes to 6500rpm. Theyre completely different cars with different purposes. Wish you guys stopped this hsv vs skyline fight. FYI vuster, you can pick up a 1999 34 gtr for 55K on road if you keep your eyes open at auction in japland. It will be 6 years old and your hsv is brand new. Be happy with it and try not to JUSTIFY your purchase to us. I do sincerely believe that you are here to start an argument. Theres absolutely no way anyone on here will agree that hsv's are better than skylines Enjoy the car

Autos arent worth very much, be it impul edition or not You'd be hard pressed to get 15k for it i reckon. Bout 13k maybe but even then i think youd be pushing it
