  1. Find as near to stock as you can. By stock I also mean the exhaust and air filter. My GTR is immaculate, factory everything (including boost restrictor) So were my other cars. They were untouched, and presumably not as thrashed as a slightly worked car. Whats the point of adding an exhaust on? To get more power -> why ? to drive the car harder. The same goes for any other power adders

  5. You can import any car that is 15 years or older, to the month This includes any of the older mini's Eg, 1989 or older. Also early month 1990 vehicles should be okay
  6. With the GTR you need to ensure that the front and rear sizes are THE SAME The reason for this is ATTESSA. Once you start modifying certain parameters, eg different tyre sizes front/rear, the ATTESSA computer and sensors start playing up. Even running slightly stiffer suspension can cause problems with the AWD system. I do believe, that is the only reason for running the same sizes front and rear I would suggest having same size rims front and back

  12. The later models had a better attessa computer which monitored traction across all 4 wheels at a much higher rate eg my 33 vspec monitors @ 1000 times per second
  13. My series 1 gtr came with a passenger airbag Go figure
  14. It looks about the same I believe the front lip is different. The front spoiler is also be slightly different.
  15. Im probably biased But I absolutely love the R33 GTR range. I owned both a 32 and 33 GTS-T and out of those, i much preferred the 33. Its much newer, has better interior. Easier to pick up in If I could afford a 34 GTR id get one, but I cant
  16. Factory wheels for a 33 GTR are 17x9 I'm 100% sure of this, because theyre on my car The tyre placard you have is the compliance one. I'll check to see if I have an original one on my car
  17. Did removing the boost restrictor give you much better response down low ? I'm having a fair bit of trouble removing this restrictor. Need to get the right set of pliers Damn, the fuel economy on this thing aint too bad either. Averaging between 11-13 litres/100. Highway/city driving
  18. very true well ive been driving it a fair bit for the last week or so. I'm also slowly getting used to driving it, and becoming more accustomed to its driving style Revving it out when I need more power, and around the streets up to 3k rpm is sufficient

  23. Its just undergone compliance, so all fluids have already been changed, etc etc. It really isnt that slow, but the take off compared to other gtr's is much slower. Driving around the city at about 2000 revs isnt that much fun. Perhaps I'm being a bit pedantic. But honestly, there is no pickup from the turbos until about 3-3500 revs. And compared to my old stock gts-t, it's much slower under 4 grand 4 grand up its a monster
  24. Hey guys Last week I picked up my '95 GTR Vspec. I'm damn happy with its performance, but I would really like some more bottom end. The car is completely stock. It even has the factory boost restrictor in place. What can I do to get more bottom end. The car feels like it has no power whatsoever below 3 grand. Now im not too keen on doing too many mods because I am broke. I also dont need any more attention that im getting from cops and the like. So i'd like to keep it as stock as possible (incl stock exhaust). Opinions and advice please Thanks
