  1. I have my splitfires up for sale. They have been in the car for about 3 months, and worked brilliantly. They held up 1.3 bar @ 93% duty cycle on 700cc injectors on 2530 sized turbos. Made a big improvement to the standard coils. Im asking for $500 for the set. They come in the original box with the instruction manual and stickers still wrapped up. These coils also fit other cars, but you would need to check. I believe they fit the R31/A31 skyline/cefiro, etc I have several offers of $450 but I am looking for $500
  2. These are the only 2530 turbos you can still buy brand new Price is slightly negotiable, as I need the funds
  3. Guys I have these turbos for sale. Only been on the car for about 5000 kms. Made somewhere around the 300awkw at just under 1.3 bar. Im after $2000 ono. No shaft play at all. These are like brand new. Reason for sale? Need funds to buy a 34 gtr Pics are below
  4. something like cruiseliner/stagezilla has in his rb26 stagea would be good. But way too much f**king around Effort. Plus standard coils should cope reasonably well, if they are newish ?
  5. you can buy mine. They are for sale
  6. Ray - The problem you had there is a COIL problem. By shortening the plug gap, you are simply reducing the amount of energy required for the spark to jump the gap. If you buy coils, you can probably regap the plugs to 0.8 or 1mm
  7. Chris If you are so positive about importing, then why dont you do just that. You posted up a wanted thread about a month ago. By now you would already have your car in the country. IMPORT the bloody car and be done with it. PS i see some flaws in your calcuations. The 10% gst is calculated on the price of the car AND shipping and any other costs associated with it. Second of all, a lot of the tokyo cars (even if they are grade 4's) may have some rust. Thirdly, you dont get to see the car yourself, and the auctioneers may overlook minor (or major?) details to the car. You never know what you are buying. It may be a good car, or it may be a shitter
  8. i think im gonna become a tow truck driver
  9. i would think they would be bigger, seeing as there are only 4 of them
  10. Go for the best tyres you can afford. The better the tyres, the better the traction and the more power you can put down (you knew that already though) I used to have a set of falken ziex 326's. I moved to toyo proxes T1-R's and have never been happier. They are NOT cheap though. What is your budget ?
  11. meh each to their own. I think the 2.6 is too small for anymore than 400hp at the crank. Stock turbos are pretty good. Im enjoying the stock car at the moment, but they lack power
  12. Hey mate you may be forgetting that you cannot identify number tampering on a digital odometer. If you want to be pedantic, FLY to japan. Thats what i am doing. 60k isnt anything to sniff at. You will have a holiday AND the car you want for the money you want. A trip to japan will cost you around the $2000 mark
  13. Whoah hang on. So if im in first, and its laggy i need to change down a gear. We're talking about city driving, not driving on a track. If im doin 80km/hr i will drop it down to 2nd or 3rd. If im doin 30km/hr, i will NOT be dropping it into 1st. City driving - keep remembering
  14. gtr's arent terribly good street cars. Poor power delivery down low (and very little torque) compared to the gts-t's, be it the rb20 or rb25. They have much better response up top than the gts-t's do. They are more of a track car than anything
  15. I was actually thinking about that too. A sard rail (like the one you have) doesnt seem terribly expensive, and probably a good idea ?
  16. Looks very very nice You do make me jealous. Even that vl looks a piece of art, particularly the engine bay Now hurry up and get it tuned !!!!
  17. here we go ......
  18. The front pipes are sold So all we have left is: The coils - asking $500 (and awaiting a response from a pm) The turbos - asking $2000 The exhaust - asking $500 The cat - asking $200 Gauges - only once they have been pulled out of the car That is all
  19. There was no link given. It was however, advertised on the jspec website
  20. I wish you guys would wait for me
  21. I thought id already mentioned it before The coils fit 32 gtr and gts-t, 33 gtr and gts-t (series 1 only) also fit the cefiros, r31's, laurels and some others I have an offer of $500 at the moment, but im still waiting to hear back from him
  22. Geez that top secret 33 looks laggy makes full boost of 25 psi at around the 6500rpm mark Would be so NOT fun to drive on the street
  23. cant make this one unfortunately. Been rostered on for nightshift for the next 2 months
  24. Gary I just meant, having a 260RS wouldve saved a lot of hassles having to buy an rb26 in the first place. The original unit could have been rebuilt, and there would have been less hassles with changing diffs, gearbox, etc. Even the chassis would be slightly stiffer on the autech. But then again, the price of the 260RS would be 3-4 times that of the stagea At the end of the day, this is looking great
