I just finished installing my boost guage and the top boost I could get out of it is about 7psi. I have 3" turbo back exhaust... I thought the boost would be higher than this from the exhaust but I have thought that there is a boost leak somewhere for a while now. Is it likely that I would be running 7psi or could I have a leak or maybe some other problem? I am pretty sure the guage isn't wrong as I didnt use the crappy clear hose that comes with it...

you shouldn't need to get it from nissan.. or japan. you can get a vl window motor

that seems like a lot of effort just to change light bulbs

You should have a look at the post Blitz put up for the fmic group buy... it's not jap but it is very good quality and good price.

I just had this problem... replaced my spark plugs with copper ones gapped to .8 and its gone... still getting a lot of pops though but thats a different issue...

Just wondering... do you turn it anti clockwise for the other side as well or clockwise?? I can get the one of the passenger side changed but not the other one...

well I am convinced to come down again... still not sure about taking my car out yet though. is the one the same type of thing as on Monday or how does it work? Just SAU or others as well?

I am really quite proud of my effort for today... I have never even changed oil on a car before but today I went and bought some new spark plugs and changed them all over... seems to be running sweet now.

You can park me around the BBQ when im not being chauffeured (hopefully) around the track... although im not really a tallish bloke.

If mind goes all the way down it sometimes gets stuck.. haven't really bothered trying to fix it... I just don't put it all the way down.

Would glady if I could... but I think there will be the same problems anywhere there is good cars. Shouldn't be too much trouble sticking to cruises and keeping the racing for track days.

what that young cop was saying about peats ridge and cracking down is true... on thursday nights it was a regular thing for a lot of people (mostly youngins) to go up there for drags... a few weeks ago it was crashed by quite a few cops and since then they have been everywhere up here, especially out at terrigal and on thursday nights. its fair enough that they would want to stop the drags but there isn't much else to do up here.. maybe if it was supervised/organised
