Just so you are all aware... I have spoken to John and everything is being sorted out. He has explained the situation and I am happy with what he had to say. Everyone should also be aware that the issue I had was with communication and delays of a part, nothing to do with any mechanical work that they were doing. They have my vote.

Did anything ever happen with that group tune? I'm thinking I need it done badly now

Merli, Well said. I think that is the exact reason I started this thread. I know they are passionate about what they do and they are good at it. I think the major flaw at UAS (and indeed a lot of auto places) is customer service. Maybe they just need a better system for tracking orders (which I would be happy to develop :Þ)

Just wanted to hear what peoples experiences have been when dealing with Unique Autosports.. good, bad and other. I am dealing with them now with some work I need done and so far I have been less than impressed.

it seems to hold boost ok but that is mostly going off the stock guage. I think I will line up with my mates 33 tomorrow night and see how I hold up against him... if I loose I know there is a problem

It has just been serviced a little while ago and apart from that everything seems to be running fine. It does seem to be making a lot more constant sucking noise than most others that I have seen as well... im around the gosford area...

I have just been noticing lately that compared to other r33's with similar mods to mine, my car doesnt seem to have as much of a "put you back in your seat" effect. The guy that just put my exhaust on seems to think that my turbo could be on it's way out... How would I be able to tell if it really is? and what would be the best thing to do to.. e.g. new turbo, hi flow etc??

I agree with Endorean. The bouncers at troppo should actually learn to do their jobs. As far as a good place to have a beer, I wouldn't know. I managed to get myself banned... although I'm still not sure exactly what I did wrong. Damn shame there isn't much else happening on the coast Saturday nights...

Someone managed to reverse into my parked car the other day and totalled my front bar. They didn't leave any details or anything so I'm going to have to pay for a new bar myself. UAS wanted $480 to paint and fit their VeilSide copy bar ($695) so all up it would be $1175. This seems a bit expensive to me but I don't want to just get it done cheap as I'm a bit worried that I will end up with someone dodgy like last time.. cracks at the slightest touch and just doesn't quite fit properly. Has anyone had any experience with UAS putting on a front bar or does anyone have any suggestions of good quality bars and places to put them on??

Howdy, I need to get a new timing belt and wheel bearing but my mechanic couldn't find either of these anywhere. He normally finds most parts ok. Any ideas where I could get them from???

Where did you manage did find them and how much were they? I've gotta change mine soon

well I knew it would happen one day and today it did, some pathetic bastard felt the need to break into my car. Luckily my alarm must have scared them off so they didnt take anything but now my window is buggered. It still seems to go up and down but the glass must have been moved so it isnt lined up properly and cant go all the way... Anyways I ripped the insides of the door off to try and fix it but I couldn't figure out how to undo the glass from the "rollers"... can anyone help??

well I am in desperate need of an ignition barrel now... I got a price from the Toy Shop... they want $275 for it!! If anyone knows anywhere I can get a cheaper one it would be great. Also, is it true that if I take the new ignition barrel to a locksmith he will be able to make it the same as the ones in the doors?

Black, 90,000km, gtr kit... photos available. It also has 16" alloys and a new clutch... new kenwood speakers and kenwood mp3 player. Apart from that it's stock. has about 10 months rego... I have only had it a little while but can't afford to keep it atm *sob sob* I need to get about $23,500 to cover my costs but I will listen to offers...
