  1. 4 - none of the above? And further more, my father has passed away. so no sorry to dissapoint, he isnt paying for anything!! Oh - and why is men always put down a suggestion that a woman may make? im dead set out to prove that guys aren't the only sex that can actually drive well. ive been told that the price of it will be around that. I could be wrong, i havent called around and got all of the quotes yet. Im still researching - as i said before. And i also thought a forum was for people putting forth there ideas NOT to be hounded and then to be accused of being a drug dealer or a prostitute?
  2. oh well... all entitled to our opinions right? This is the way im going to do it, i will always welcome suggestions and obviously places that might be able to do things cheaper. But with a certain few things i will go to those i trust. However if anyone knows anyone who is in sydney or south coast who could direct me to someone to help me out, would be much appreciated
  3. i know i will always be loosing money, its the way the industry works. When i have it all finished, ill make sure to definately show you But i really dont want a windsor. oh FYI The diff im getting is a 3.25 to 1 LSD custom built to fit my skyline and installed for $4000 so i believe your $1500 is a bit short there too buddy.
  4. Hey, My name is Sherry. I live in wollongong NSW. About to start building up my Skyline TI.
  5. the one my father and i built together is $36,500. Plus i the diff i want is a extra $4000
  6. i want something that will be different to any other skyline ive seen, as i said my fathers XB John Goss is my inspiration and this will be my project. Money is not the issue for me.
  7. cleveland. I'm not going short with this car. The engine for what i want will cost at least $40,000 if not more. Plus the diff and tailshaft im getting will definately be able to handle the h/p that comes out of it.
  8. Im a true believer in air flow hence why that wont be a problem. Plus i have a few ways of ensuring that wont happen
  9. im putting a 357 in it .. getting quotes n shiz as we speak
  10. Ahhhh ok, thanks heaps. something to consider How much r we talking about?? or i had a suggestion for a LS1 and putting a manualised turbo behind it to get decent power to weight ratio?
  11. This is the exact reason that i want opinions and suggestions. im starting from square 1. I am throwing around so many ideas in my head.
  12. Yeah but i dont want a turbo. i want naturally aspirated. My inspiration for this car is coming from my dads XB John Goss.
  13. silly question.... rb30 E what does the E stand for? Also what KW did they get for that? i like the sound of the coyote engine but also have to think of suspension n all that shiznit... im seriously leaning towards something of 5l or 5.7. If i go much bigger i think it will throw out my power to weight too much
  14. ok, I never even thought of the coyote, how do you think that would go with my engine bay though. would i have to change anything to be able to fit it in? Also how do you think it would go power to weight ratio?? Please excuse any "silly" questions, this is the first car i want to build myself
  15. i am a sucker for Muscle though, coming from a family of mechanics I want something to stand out from everything else. Hence why i dont want a turbo.
  16. Hey guys my name is Sherry. My first Car was a Nissan Skyline TI. Now i finally have my full license i want to turn my car into a burnout car for events at eastern creek and summernats. Im not too sure of what i want to do with it yet, But i want to keep it naturally aspirated. I am thinking a 460 BB but i dont want to be greedy, also possibly thinking a 5lt. But i also do realise i need to consider power to weight. Any Suggestions are more than welcome!! Thanks
