  1. You're dead right... it IS Thursday. I'm one of 5 for the day. Have fun all
  2. Yeah I'm having a general. The dentist performing the op is a female who is known to be a little more gentle than some... *phew*. The best part is I get a week off work... which should be plenty of time to brush up on my GT4 skills
  3. I was REALLY looking forward to this day... but unfortunately my work has decided I should have all four wisdom teeth removed on the Friday (good April fools joke ) so I doubt I'll be up to it. Gotta love the military... "yes we know your wisdom teeth aren't causing you any major problems, but we want them removed just in case they do and your on a military deployment O/S" Andrew, Sorry mate I know how much you hate it when people say... "I'm in!" and then they pull out.
  4. Cool. Thanks for the info Will
  5. The new kit looks awesome Andrew. Nice photos too
  6. If I'm free I'll be there. I might just come along for a look though... I'll decided closer to the date. Workshop: Willall Date: 7-8, 21-22, or 28-29 are my prefered May weekends ( Group: The LS1 guys are fine with me Style: Dyno day and BBQ
  7. Good to hear you got it sorted mate
  8. I'm in! GT4 for me... I'll keep my "brain power" in reserve and leave the CS fans to use maximum brain power
  9. Yeah I know what you mean re one problem after another... that's cars for you I'm in Golden Grove (and Oakden) so it'll be easy enough to get to you, or you to me. Any time from about 7:30pm on during the week is fine with me. I'll PM you
  10. As previously stated, the Odyssey 650CCA rating is only a starting pulse for a few seconds. IMHO Odyssey batteries are very average in terms of performance, quality, aftersales service (personal experience) and especially reliablity. I had one Odyssey drop a cell in just 6mths... this is not that uncommon. In my experience the Optima range is vastly superior!
  11. There are Skylines in GT4. There are no Skylines in CS (to the best of my knowledge). Therefore GT4 owns CS
  12. Yeah sure mate, I can have a quick look if you'd like. What suburb are you in? The first thing to do is pull the No2 plug and replace it. By the sounds of things it may well be as simple as a damaged plug (electrode and/or ceramic) either that or the plug is so badly fouled it won't fire. I've got a whole stack of new BCPR6ES's and 7ES's, and even a set of six 8's, so if the SR20DET uses the same style plug then you don't even need to bring a plug If it isn't the plug then we can go back over the coil and injector side of things. Don't stress that it's a internal engine issues just yet matey
  13. Sounds like the No2 plug is shot to me... simple and cheap to fix
  14. I'll stick to GT4 thanks 500kw and the Nurburgring
  15. Yep I'm in... and Kim may come along to.
  16. Cool avatar Andrew And thanks for putting on the BBQ too mate. I'll probably be heading out to AIR with Kim's bro in his car. We're pretty keen to be out there by 12-12:30ish so we might drop in on the way through just to say g'day. Otherwise we'll see you all out there.
  17. Sounds like a damn fine plan Andrew! I'm in at this stage but will have to get back to you as I "may" be heading out earlier.
  18. I entered last year and recall being at the track by 10am, running my last pass after 10:30pm and driving home near midnight! In the mid/high 40'c heat it was a killer Lost 4kg. I'm not going to run this year (as opposed to my earlier intention to do so) but I'm keen to head out for a look. I don't mind going early or late... the only thing with going late is that we "might" miss out on seeing some cars if they have terminal failures early on. After my efforts last year 12hrs of spectating will be a walk in the park EDIT: Just checked the weather on the BOM site... it's looking good! Friday : Min 15 Max 26 Fine. Mostly sunny. Saturday : Min 14 Max 28 Fine. Mostly sunny.
  19. I'd consider it.
  20. The GT-R badge has been on there for almost 5yrs... I was supposed to get a GT-S badge when the grill and front bar went on 5yrs back! The panel shop said "yes we will source a GT-'S' badge no problems" I rocked up to pick the car up and that's what they'd fitted. The car has claimed a few GT-R kills over the years. Had a good run with an N1 turbo'd (plus other mods - stripped interior etc) we both ran ~120mph TS. He got 2 cars on launch. I reeled him in a bit though.
  21. I've probably posted this picture before? Here's mine - Included one of the engine in the last stage of the build. And yeah I know the GT-R badge is lame, looking to get a GT-S style replacement ASAP. Anyone know where I can get a good quality one?
  22. I think I know why young Jason (Skylinekiller) is so fond of the 'gay' scene... he's a Leading "SEAMAN" in the Navy. Sorry Jason but it had to be done mate
  23. Congratulations Joel And pass on my congrats to Julie too. Like the others have said mate, they grow up so quickly! It's been 2.5yrs since I was in your position. Fatherhood... it's an awesome experience mate. Enjoy!
  24. We got our tickets when they first went on sale... and it's my g/f's b'day that same day! Couldn't have planned it any better
  25. Hey Tim! Yes mate I'm still around. I had the shits with cars for a while there (was doing a LOT of bodyboarding instead - even saw Martin down at Waitpinga... he was fishing and I was getting barrelled ) but now I'm keen to get back into things again. I'm planning on entering the 4,6 and Rotary Nationals. Haven't raced the car since the HKS cams went in so it will be as good a reason as any to give it another shot. It looks like we will have a few entrants... which is good to see Clint, the 32 looks bloody awesome mate! Looking forward to big things from the beast.
