  1. You bunch of whorers! I was attempting to whore this thread with a completely bogus "cruise" and you all go and whore over the top of my whore... bah! I loved your DIY blow-off valve sound in the Xtrail Martin You better be careful with that skill though, you don't want to get yourself defected! Might be best to go for more of a plumb-back style
  2. You may as well write letters to f@%king El'Presidente Bush for all it's worth. These laws will come into effect in SA, without a doubt. SA is only following the lead from the other states that already have these tough 'anti hoon' laws in place. I don't agree with it, but 10's of 1000's of other SA citizens sure as hell will.
  3. Yeah I'll accept a Maccas receipt Now, about that time at band camp?...
  4. It seems pretty obvious to me re the 'bent chassis rail'.... Regency staff didn't "miss" the bent chassis rail the first 2 times, rather they chose to find a tiny defect with it on the GTi-R's third trip through. Why did they do this? Because they decided the owner hadn't learnt his lesson the first two times. And before anyone asks... no, I don't agree with their (Regency)methods, but I can see why they're doing it.
  5. Ok... your in
  6. Damn it! Ok then... ummm... ahhh I've got it! This cruise is only for red, white, blue and black cars that have done a sub 12.5sec 1/4 on radial tyres and the owner is right handed Have I excluded you yet Martin?
  7. Ohh... ok then, seeing as how this is SA I will except a hand-drawn copy of a timeslip
  8. NSW has had these laws in place for a number of years now. Mark my words people, this WILL happen here in SA too. It is just a matter of time
  9. WTF!? I go away for a few days and come back to see a thread like this! Bloody GT-R owners Right then! I'm organising a cruise... who's in? It is only open to cars that have got PROOF of a SUB 12.5sec 1/4 pass Oh yeah... and it has to be a sub 12.5 on radial street tyres too! j/k
  10. See if you can pick up a 2nd hand PFC or later version Microtech for ~1k. If you're looking at $1400 for the E-manage fitted and tuned then 1k for a 2nd hand PFC/Microtech still leaves $400 for fit and tune (fitting is near zero cost). It may take a while to find either ECU at a low price, but they do pop up from time to time.
  11. BAN HIM! Just kidding mate A new WRX hatch is a damn good everyday driver/weekend toy. Good choice.
  12. Revhead (Marc) you hit the nail on the head mate! Ben will undoubtedly have the finger of blame pointed at HIM, for no other reason than the type of car he drives, or drove... in this case The cost of repairing, or replacing, the s/pole and downed power lines will add up to quite a bit It could've been a LOT worse I guess? Ben is ok and the new engine combo should be fine. Looking at that photo it shows the rear end is still fine too.
  13. Not sure on the location? I VERY much doubt it will be like the "GT-R crashed" thread, as Ben's Supra is very well known. Not much chance of mistaking it. It has been a ZOOM cover car and was a regular AIR competitor. It also made over 420rwkw at Autosalon one year. The new motor has BIG potential! Hopefully it'll find a new home sooner rather than later.
  14. If you ask me... chrome rims were never uphill!
  15. Ben's 'Boostworx' sponsored 10sec Supra came to a sad end late today Thankfully Ben is ok!!! This is all second hand info, so don't take it ALL as gospel... A Dawoo of some description did an illegal U-turn causing Ben to take evasive action to avoid hitting it! The Supra clipped the gutter in the process and this caused it to spin. Ben hit a stobie pole just forward of the front door area. Shaun said had it hit at the door... Ben would've been in BIG trouble As the other car wasn't actually involved in the crash they left the scene, giving the finger and swearing! If anyone has any info that leads to the ID'ing of said Dawoo then pls let me know. Most of the drivetrain is suppose to be still ok and will hopefully make it back into a new chassis? The new engine hadn't even been fully run-in yet Early trial tuning saw 360rwkw on 16psi at 5500rpm. They intend to use closer to 7000+/-rpm and 20+psi. I'm guessing high 400's to 500rwkw will be on the cards, as the turbo wasn't even into the start of it efficency range.
  16. Ahhh who cares what other people think... bleh. If you like 'em that's all that matters Dean. More importantly, as long as they're nice and light and they have good rubber on 'em, then that's all that REALLY counts! Now if you want to talk about shitty rims... big heavy f'ugly chrome rims look like crap to me, and they do SFA for the cars performance too. Some people love them the things though? Each to their own.
  17. It doesn't matter how much you post, 'cause you get 15 points regardless of post size..
  18. Testing....
  19. That's no good Deano! Get well dude. Hahaha... you were so fulsik that you could keep a handle on it and ya got ill fo' real g.
  20. No hang-on make that 525!
  21. 510 biatch!
