Nightcrawler has suggested we do a private drag day, i.e. hire the AIR track. John (Munro) has given us the basic details, $3500 all up to hire the track including track preparation, timing equipment, officials, fire/ambo etc. So, to start the ball rolling, who's keen to give it a go. We'll need a decent # of cars to keep the costs down, how many we can get, or have, in total I don't know? We'll invite the LS1 guys, WRX, & a few others... To make sure we get a good turnout & a fun day. I know there's a lot of info we still need to find out (dates, times, numbers, costs & so on..) but a show of hands is a start @ least! One small point to remember! - As there is currently no street meets @ AIR (until @ least December!) the only other way to get a crack @ a genuine timeslip, is interstate! Well, AFAIK? We've all been invited by BRUTE (Aussie LS1 forum) to attend a dyno day that the LS1 guys are organizing soon. It's on Saturday 12Oct' 10am @ Tilbrook's. Matt, welcome to the forum mate:) It's gunna' get confusing with all these Matts :confused: Yeah it's a bummer we lost a few along the way; handhelds or mobile #'s will help in the future. A handout with the route might be the go next time. It was good to finally get some DRY road & traction hey mate! Excellent turnout under the circumstances! Sorry for the lack of organization everyone I wasn't too sure what everyone was keen on doing with the rain pissing down?!?! Hopefully you all enjoyed the mix of beasts! Good to see we had no major dramas, + Andrew & Rob etc... got let off by the cops. I'm very keen to get another joint/mixed cruise going again soon. The best bet is to wait for a dry night, i.e. set a date & if it's raining that night move it to the following wk. BRUTE has suggested some UHF radios, it'd be a good idea, so we can try & prevent losing people! I like the idea of an arvo cruise! Just look @ the weather today! And finally, Bug's & myself might be out of the cruise scene for a while, unfortunately We're both due to become first time dads in a week or so!!! Nissan actually offered an optional baby seat for the R33! 26,000yen. No I will not be fitting one

Brad - Nice looking car! Very quick too! We've tried to choose a route that caters to everyone (around town, F'way & hills) so it should be good. Pissed off about the rain but we should still get a good turn out. See you all there

Xrsist / Lachlan (Freebaggin) In an earlier HPI (last issue maybe?) they did a little feature on the LT12, the engine bay shot in that feature was mine, & the RPM designed inlet photo was Freebaggin's. In the lastest HPI (No24) full LT12 write-up the black car is Freebaggin's, with a small background shot of mine I just noticed Lachlan, Tim even colour matched our LT12's to our cars! :lol: Black ECU for your black car & a blue ECU to match my blue engine detailing

Yeah the Mitre 10 we always meet @ is the bay one, it's got a small cark park + a fair few parking spaces along the road. EDIT - 30th AUG CRUISE CHANGE OF MEETING POINT! Due to the expected numbers (~20, give or take) it’ll be better if we change the meeting place to the Bunnings car park in Mile End (near Autobarn). This’ll give us a heap more room, & it’s not too far from the previous meeting points. The Bunnings cark park is located @ 108 Railway Tce, Mile End. It’s just over the Hilton Bridge.
