Condolences to you, and your family B1. I lost my dad (43) to cancer in 1993. I was only 13 and at the time and felt that I had nothing to live for. His death had a hugh impact on my life. All up I missed 3 years of school and basically had no contact with the outside world for many years. I'm a stronger person now because of whats happened and theres not a day that goes by that I dont think of him. Try and be strong. But let your emmotions out or they will catchup to you.

how olds the battery? do you think its charging?

check your ground wires before you change your battery buddy. mine use to click sometimes and not even turnover. turned out the battery wasnt charging because the ground wire in the engine bay was dirty. Car starts in 1-2seconds now with no trouble at all. Check your voltage at the alternator and then at the battery to see if theres much difference.

Try cleaning the ground wire in the engine bay. I've had the same kinda problem where the starter motor would just click, click and nothing would happen. After lots of troubleshooting a found that the ground wire in the engine bay was so dirty it was heating up and not connection properly. was only making 12.6 at the battery and 13.6 at the alternator. She starts with one turn of the key now.

Thanks for the tip MrZac. Just removed the padding so hopefully on the way home from work tonight I hear a difference. Does anyone know how to clean these K&N filters? Mines been in for a few months and looks a little dirty.

Finally onto my open licence and without loosing a point !!! Sure I drove a non-turbo silvia for the first 1 1/2 years and a gts-t skyline for the remainder. I've had fines and warnings for stupid things likes driving without headlights on and driving "erratically" - before the new laws were passed. I guess i've had some luck with speeding fines but other than that I drive quite sensibly. How many of you guys are on your opens? and in which state?

Have you checked your oil level?

My water pump started leaking after i flushed my radiator. Didn't leak much the first day - 1 hour after i got my car to work the next day it had lost almost all of the radiator fluid. Lucky the workshop i take my car to is 25meters up the road. Had the timing belt replaced at the same time. $500 all up with new coolant. I'd get it done ASAP kaotik
