  1. From a jar of olives
  2. Your martini needs more olive brine and olives. I appreciate the absence of vermouth, I like just a rinse, no more.
  3. For sure, that was Dan's opinion. It is an opinion, nothing more. I'm sure there are people who think 1000HP Dyno Queens are streetable.
  4. Dan said to me that 250kw was his ideal for daily driver and anything over 300 was stupid for the street. And he kind of knows how to build a car.
  5. V8, NA Tourqes. You pull from all the way down in the range, high power FI cars have to be on boost. Makes your car seem faster according to the seat of your pants dyno. Example, Martins car has similar power to Dylan's SLK55 AMG. I've been in both at full noise. Dylans feels faster, but its actually not.
  6. we normally get half an hour of time on track.
  7. I can confirm I got your money mate
  8. One is you, one is your +1, one is Michael having one too many whiskys

    Sprint Day - 2/02/14

Get your payments in boys and girls
  10. Because it blew up and I am dilligently saving for the repairs it needs
  11. How could it not play the same. It's a sim racer, it can only get more realistic and their physics engine is bloody good as is.
  12. Time is the real killer. Although I may have more up my sleeve because of this. I was using my own car (with a generous per/km allowance and fuel reimbursement) to do a sales rep job. Guess I won't have that job any more Which is OK because I wanted to stop anyway. Two jobs, an internship, summer semester uni, a relationship and the club all left me with zero time. I'll have done over 100 hours between the jobs, internship and uni this week and that is killing me when it doesn't pay. Didn't mind it when i was a manager and doing 14-16 hour days every day because I got free food, free booze and a good pay packet.
  13. At least your cars are able to run :-P Anyone got a spare seat for a photographer I've got coming along? Work and the car gods have f**ked me over. I can get him to the meet (in my oh so classy Astra) but I have to bail early so he'll need a lift to the powerhouse mid afternoon.
  14. Home now. Just in time to get changed and head off to work again! YAY!
  15. Old age has changed me
  16. When I get a chance to get my hands in there and have a proper look I'll let you know. Not super keen on burning myself or getting hit by a car just now.
  17. Well isn't this fun. Sitting on the side of the road awaiting a tow truck. Something has gone pop and spewed steam and coolant all over my engine bay. To make it better, whatever it was is right at the back of the block by the fire wall. I love my life :-(
  18. http://www.gtplanet.net/gt6-course-maker-gps-data/ I just jizzed in my pants. Nedo/Glorious point to point track anyone?

  20. The preview to full version apparently isn't. Updating OSX from a beta version of Mavericks to the full version was a piece of piss however.
  21. Sorry mate, that was a dig at MS, not at you. Changing OS should be easy, and it is with unix based OS's like OSX or Linux it is. MS has made it into a cluster f**k.
  22. Something is terribly wrong when it's that god damn hard to update an OS
  23. Yeah, we were discussing it and we wanted to see pics Just noticed this, still scratching my head as to how you hit the wall at turn one however.
  24. Is the engine out?
