I wouldn't have called Wow a blue chip company, not like they are even close to a similar level as Telstra, BHP or the banks... But most sucky for you mate. Any chance of a partial recovery at least? I know most times a company goes into receivership creditors get screwed to the wall but they get something back at least, even if it's only 10c in the $.

Toga party at RE was a fail this year. I drove past it around 10pm and it was quiet. Beer garden only half full, no line to get in. When I worked at the regatta the RE's toga party used to be so big that we would fill the regatta (and full was 2000 or so people) just from the over flow that couldn't get into the RE.

6 months free physio for my neck and back starts next week

At uni for 9 hours yesterday and then dinner shift at work where we got thumped. This was after 10 hours of uni on Monday. My slightly stiff neck from the crash is now all kinds of crazy sore and my back is killing me as well. Off to the doctor I go. Beyond that, good first team meeting for UQ racing is on Friday, can't wait to get on board!

Out of curiosity what brand of bonnet do you have? I was unaware of any CF bonnets that were ADR compliant.

I still have to wait to hear from the assessors first and foremost Don't even know if they will pay me out or repair her yet. The Leopard would require some serious thought. If they pay me out the $18k I'll be more interested in buying a cheap to run, auto daily driver and start building a serious track car (and you know, learning how to drive properly .) I'm not sure if the Leopard really fits either bill correctly. I would hate to butcher such a beautiful car to gut and cage it etc for track work and I'm not sure if that really falls into the category of a cheap daily driver. It is a beautiful car however... And I also have this 33 Noel suggested to look at... And a 34 Chris has suggested as well...

I wonder what it would cost me to get the gear box fixed, a nice full service and tune and get the AC running...

Started the car up to get her on the towie. Engine was not a happy camper. Belts squealing like a bitch from them rubbing on the fan shroud that has been jammed up into them. Idle was all over the shop, almost stalled (in a freaking auto) at one point and was surging to over 2.5k at other points. She is not a well car

Spoke to insurance company today, they are organising a tow from where the car ended up and all the rest. However with damage to three panels and the reo as well as whatever mechanical damage has occurred I have been told to expect it to be a write off Time to start shopping around I guess. Thankfully I just bumped my agreed value I'll probably get $18k in hand after everything is settled so that would give me plenty of options. Thinking maybe I buy a dirt cheap camry/magna/lancer etc for a couple of grand and start looking for an S13

Our cruises get anywhere between 25-100ish cars, depends on the cruise and general interest.

f**kedy f**k f**k! I may have just killed my baby... Involved in a minor fender bender, tried driving away after exchanging details only to realise that I was losing fuel and the engine was being totally unresponsive. Pulled over to have a look under the bonnet and the front reo is bent with no space between the radiator and engine and the engine seems to be sitting at a funny angle in the bay. To make things better it turns out that Just Car don't have a 24 hour claims service... Car is parked and locked and I have to organise a tow and a claim first thing in the morning.

Mangs, it has been oh so quiet of late.
