It can be done. Chris Rodgers from Audio Express ran a demonstration night recently (and has another one coming up soon, check the events section) and he managed to get a car started and moving in about 90 seconds while the alarm/imobiliser was active and he was talking to a mate on the phone. The quality of the instalation is what makes the most difference in how secure a car can be.

The qld section on the mothersite (this site) is a loose affiliation of Qld Skyline enthusiasts. The club SAuQld is a separate car club. We organise cruises, track days, dyno days, drags, social events and the like. You have to pay to be a member of the club but by being a member you get discounted entry to our events, discounts with our sponsors and so on.

Spotted a white V series with black rims, HID's and a HUGE GT wing last night riding in a convoy with a couple of WRX's.

Only vehicle I ever bought from a dealer was my Honda VTR. Went in on the last day of March (end of the financial quarter) with cash and had the brand new bike I wanted in 30 minutes, well below the sticker price with all on roads and a few accessories included. Cash does talk and I guess the salesman was keen to shift one more unit in what is the quietest quarter of the year (at least for other sales jobs... Don't know about car/bike sales.)
