Club endorsed whale watching tomorrow Meeting Rush at Cannon Hill Macca's tomorrow morning for the cruise in to Yamanto if anyone is keen to meet us there.

Just settled in at home after a hard days work, beer in hand and bad movie to watch when *Ring ring* oh it's my phone. Answer phone, "What's that? Flying squad hitting the venue tonight? Yay, there goes my night off!" Into car, back at work now. For those that don't know the flying squads are MAJOR audits/raids conducted by members of WHSO Qld, Dept of Fair Trading, OLGR, QPS, QFS and occasionally Dept of Employment and Dept of Immigration. Major not fun times for all involved. I have 99% of my ducks in a row, let's hope they don't go looking for number 100

Fail start to the day. Coppers pull me over for the usual bullshit "This is a RBT... Oh wait, you drive a Skyline, let's have a look under the bonnet" Spend time arguing that my exhaust and FMIC are legal and don't require a mod plate and then they whack me with driving an unregistered vehicle. Rego expired on Friday, no one to blame but me for that one however. Car is off the road until I can get to Qld Transport and who knows when that will be with work the way it is.

I'd be solidly up shit creek without my phone. All my work contacts, staff phone numbers, friends, family etc are in the phone. I couldn't even tell you the phone number of the pub off of the top of my head, I'd have to look it up. I have about three numbers memorised and they are all family. My last girl friend cracked the shits with me because I couldn't remember her phone number.

If you find a few more V series guys you should come along to an event or two for the Qld Club mate. Would be great to see a V35 or V36 at some of the meets, cruises or track day.

What point of view are you looking at the question from? Driver? Manufacturer? Mechanical issues/reliability? Why no AWD being considered? For example, a major pro of FF cars is the lower cost of production. This isn't much of a bonus to a driver however (unless you count purchase price into the enjoyment factor.)
