Back in Brissy now What's the plan for Thursday night? BnR at Chapel Hill? Steak? It's also time to start getting some work done to my baby. Going to see if Fulcrum can have a look at my suspension some time this week, it has Tein Coilovers and an EDFC but I want to get it all checked over and get the car raised slightly so I'm not bottoming out all the time and I can hopefully eliminate some of the god damn wheel rubbing as well. Then it's off to Chris Rogers to get the Sat Nav/DVD/Radio all sorted. Once that's all done I need to find a decent workshop to get a full service done and get it up on a dyno to see what sort of power I'm making and where we can go from there. I'm thinking the order of work to be done is as follows: - Exhaust, 3" turbo back... currently have at least a cat back with a 5" tip but there are some exhaust leaks according to the pre purchase inspection I got done. - Intake (not sure if I want to go pod or keep the stock air box yet) - Z32 AFM, Nistune ECU, return flow FMIC all in one hit. Possibly get the standard turbo up to 9-10psi at this stage as well but I'm not sure how well that would go, the car has done 140,000km... - Get the gear box shift kitted, strengthened, high stall and a cooler put in (it's an auto) - Miscellaneous systems upgraded/replaced (fuel pump, slightly larger injectors, new coil packs etc) - New Turbo - thinking a HKS GT-RS. I'm not looking for a monster level of power, more around the 230-250rwkw level. From what I have read the GT-RS will do these power levels safely but still give decent responsiveness without huge amounts of lag. Thoughts/opinions on the planed upgrade route?

I thought the only R34 GT-R M-Spec was a Nür edition... It was 750 V-Spec II Nür's and 250 M-Spec Nür's in total if I remember correctly. Or was the just a GT-R M-Spec that I am simply unaware of?

I was down the coast all week with my black 34, maybe it was mine... although mine only has stock wheels... and isn't a GT-R Spotted a black 370GT coming from the airport, license plate "PETITE" being driven by a SMOKING hot asian chick and her cute blonde friend. My brother and I thank you for providing us with three hot bodies to look at - you, your friend and your car Is that a Nür?

Good steaks in the western suburbs hey... Caxton Hotel, Paddington Tavern, Kenmore Tavern (hell, if I come along we will get a 20% discount at Kenmore, I used to be a manager there), Regatta MIGHT have the kitchen open again but unlikely, 2x Hogs breath (indooroopilly and Petrie tce) but they can be real hit and miss and the Ox in Oxley. Further out there's the Story Bridge, Pineapple, Norman, Normanby and Chalk hotels. All fairly close to the western suburbs and all damn good. Also there is Smoke in New Farm. Best ribs in Brisbane and damn good steak. Little pricey and we would need to book several days in advance with no alterations to numbers.

Driving back from dinner tonight the SRS light came back on When I first got the car I was able to enter the diagnostic mode and it turned off. Now it will turn off after I do the diagnostic but the next time I start it up the light is back on. I now have the SRS light flashing at me and the HICAS light coming on after 20 minutes of highway driving, yay... Next step in getting these issues sorted that I can attempt myself?

So I have another few days before I head back to Brisvegas. Once I'm back I have another week off work, time to get working on some simple stuff for my baby. Want to get the intake side of things sorted first, how hard is it for someone with limited knowledge to rip out an air box and replace it with a pod filter and a CAI for it?

Sup, Back in Brisbane for a Job interview this afternoon, then back down the coast for the rest of the week. Had the HICAS light come on while on the highway. Pulled off to get some water, light off. Back on the highway and 20 minutes later light back on....grrr! Then, just to make an absolute ass of my self at the first red light I come to in Brisbane I turn the engine off to reset the HICAS light and the damn thing wouldn't start up right away! Bloody turbo timer and kill switch and alarm causing me havoc and backing up traffic on Coro Drive. I vote me for dumb ass of the day!

After looking around with the wheels at full lock etc it definitely looks like it's rubbing on the inner guards at the front, thankfully not while at full lock, just when pressure is applied to the suspension, the rubbing can also be heard is I hit a large bump on the road while going straight. It has stock wheels running 235/45/17 so the only other issue I can think of that would cause the rubbing is the ride hight (unless my tyre size is 100% f**ked). Any other suggestions for possible causes before I go ahead and get the car raised?

Sounds good. I'll see if I'm free and if so I'll sign up. I just picked my Skyline up, will be curious to see what sort of power she is producing.

Got a date for this or am I just being a blind idiot?

Thanks, now hurry up and process my application for the club membership so I can get a discount when I pick my car back up from Chris Rogers tomorrow
