  1. DUDE!!!! Thats awesome, although its something little, mate, this is going to increase customer loyalty!!! Being a student and studying marketing, this is a really good move. I havent even picked up my bonnet yet, but you sound like a top bloke!!! Well looks like this weekend Ill have the new bonnet on Providing its cleared on friday. Cya soon!
  2. HAHA, Sorry bout the typo, its fixed up now.... Well maybe with some stickers and neons, i might acheive 2002.2 Thanks for picking that up Cheers
  3. what sort of power you running? 202.2RWKW how does it feel to drive? Awesome to drive, no slippage... When i shift down, its faster on slowing down aswell, as it grabs alot better... Sometimes slowing down at high speeds going from 3rd to 2nd, you get abit of compression lock up... is it on/off or can you ride it a bit? Its basically on or off You can try ride it, it wont let u that much, haha... You spin wheels trying to park it it it insanely hard on your leg? Nope.... Not too bad actually, its not that much heavier over standard, however I havent really driven it through heavy traffic yet, but it seems to be doing fine. Hope that helps
  4. Usually you might want to lightly machine your flywheel when you do the clutch,as it could be slightly rippled from wear & tear of your current clutch. Fitment is usually around $300 I think.... Not too sure, but Autosport @ Kirrawee did a pretty good job for me.. Clutch hasnt slipped since i put it in 2 weeks ago... Awesome clutch! Jimbo, forgot to mention, the above price included machining the flywheel.
  5. Clutch, labour, redline oil totaled $900... Was this a good/bad price??? They gave 1yr's warranty on labour But yeah, clutch is awesome!!! Parking it can be a bitch tho! For the clutch alone, they charged $550
  6. Hi Charlie. I had a problem with my clutch not too long ago... I found that it was slipping when it came close to peak power, which started around 5,000RPM.... What happened was when I shifted from 2nd-3rd, redlining, the car would sit around 5,500rpm after shifting, and you would feel like ur rolling the same speed, but the revs still went up, but then the clutch eventually grabbed, and pulled car all the way to the end... Thats basically when I knew my clutch was slipping. I just put in a heavy duty 6 puck clutch from Autosport @ Kirrawee (sydney) and now there is no more slippage 65% clamp load over standard
  7. I think the front bar he bought was designed for a gtst, but in GTR style. He fitted up one of those 600x300x76 cores (Hybrid) with no problems. If your interested, im pretty sure I saw a GTR bar for GTST down @ Justjap the other day, newly sprayed for $450 or so.... Give just jap a call if your interested
  8. We fitted up a Front mount to my mates 32 over the weekend. Basically he bought the gtr bar, but we had to remove the motors, and the front spoiler for the cooler to go in...
  9. Yup, me from tha shire
  10. Spotted black r34 GTT on Princess HWY @ kirrawee this afternoon around 5:30.... Chick driver too... Nice ride!!! Also spoted R33 gtst with deep dishies, going past the tafe @ Gymea....
  11. Hey champ, do you have a date yet, from when we can start picking these up??
  12. You still need cooler piping for your core, which will set you back another few hundred. Other than that, the car was quite a good price you picked it up for, but hows all the panel work? Any previous accident history??? With the parts your buying off ebay, a good search before ebay are the forums here, as you can pick up some nice deals, hence I think you paid just a lil too much for the AVC-R as I seen them go cheaper on here. Other parts you need to buy, is either the SAFC or Power FC, to tune your car for the mods your putting on there. The standard ecu is crap, and will probably crap itself once you bolt the mods on, by going into R&R mode, hence the reason for SAFC or Power FC. With those mods on, you will probably need to regap plugs, ie when you run higher boost, to something like .75mm - .8mm All in all, welcome to the Skyline scene, and hope it all goes well for you. Hmmm by the way, this post needs to probably go in the "General" section next time for reference. P.S, Dont skimp on fuel, you need to run premium
  13. Pm me your email for actual pics of the phone, but this is what it looks like http://www.mphone.co.uk/panasonic/images/p...nasonic_x70.jpg
  14. I bought mine 2nd hand off the forums, however im pretty sure "Earls" makes them from memory... They have a website, but im unsure of the link and price...
  15. I got a panasonic X70 which you can have for 200 + postage if your keen. Its only 8 months old, I have box, manual, charger for it.... It has a few scratches here and there, but its a colour screen handset with camera, bluetooth, polyphonic ringtones etc. Let me know if your interested, can get pics if you like
  16. I have a DEFI oil temp gauge which I have hooked up. What i needed to hook it up was a "Sandwhich plate" which actually goes between the block and the oil filter, and allows you to input both oil temp and pressure sensors. Im not too sure if your Autometer one came with the brass coated sensor, but my Defi did, and all I needed was the Sanwhich plate so I could mount it. Basically the sandwhich plate has a hole to allow you to screw in the brass sensor. Once the sensor is in, your pretty much sweet to go Hope this helps
  17. Hi guys, Im after a lightened flywheel for my R33 (RB25DET). If you have something you want to sell, please let me know what brand of flywheel, the weight of the flywheel and the price. Im located in Sydney Thanks
  18. Quick question, are you pleaing guilty or not guilty??? Please do let me know how you go with this...
  19. Is the R33 blinkers suited for GTR or GTST? PM me on price and whereabouts in Syd if for GTST
  20. Out of curiosity, just wondering what alarm system you used???? Makes me think twice too see if my current system is holding up??? Did the alarm system have black wiring, battery back up etc???? PM me the details if you dont wish to say on this post.... But sorry to hear, will keep a lookout for you. ***GUYS, if you see a skyline with wheel brace locks on soon, it will probably be mine!!! Im starting to freak!!!***
  21. Hey mate, what area is this in? ie suburb? To protect your car, you can use visual deterents such as club locks... Alternatively, you can purchase a wheel lock mechanism which bolts around your wheel of the car.... Try park in the garage at home?? If you live with your parents which i assume you do, get them to park infront of your car and park it on the driveway
  22. THanks, yeah that was the problem... Had the problem ages ago when i just tested the PFC in the car... But now its all tuned, and making some healthy figures...
