  1. Those are the reverse EL dials.... I bought them from a Group Buy off here last year sometime... Anyhow, the dials are gone now, and im back to the standard dash, but have red LED lights in it, which makes the numbers light up all red at night. Matches the amber defi's
  2. Do you have a mobile number? If so, just PM me with it, ill see what i can do
  3. Spotted R34NOS "R34" down at Cronulla today.... My car was the white 33 opposite Gloria Jeans with the black Volks...
  4. Hobbs bros aye???? I had my car cleaned for quarantine here and to lock the car up, they basically put my car between 2 shipping containers ( left and right of the car) and a wall, basically they blocked it in with another container from the front.... Was the gtr's locked up the same way? Sorry to hear the loss.... If they broke through the fence with those cars that they found, the other cars probably will have less scratches, as it sounds like the GTR's recovered have probably been the ones to get through the fence first
  5. Will get close up pics next hopefully over the weekend If not, probably next week. Closest pics at the moment is the pic of both wheels on my balcony
  6. So looks like you will be painting your rims too.. Do post up when you actually finish the job or one wheel Guys, you can add a primer coat, but I think its probably only necessary if you sand your wheels back to bare metal...
  7. Alan Jong by anychance??? If so, he will give you a better price if you go to him directly He fixed me up with my alarm system, top bloke, and knows his stuff
  8. If its still sticking to your cooler piping, I dont see why you cant use it on your wheels HEHE... The only thing that you should worry about, is weathering and whether the paint will stick to the wheels. As long as you give it a good sand, and make sure you get paint that will bite into the metal, and also be weather resistant, your pretty much set. The stuff I used was car touch up paint, which is pretty much meant for panel jobs...
  9. Its a nice gloss coating... If your after gloss, select "Gloss black"... If your after a flat finish, such as an aluminium or plastic look, select "flat or Matt black" Those colours are usually dull, but can give a nice appeal too Makes your rims look like they are made of some trick alloy or titanium, lol
  10. Keypad start buddy!!! You got 3 main points on the remote key, then you have to put in a pin code before you can start the car, otherwise car wont start. Has turbo timer function, black wiring, internal and external siren with battery back up Its sall good, and can even stop you from driving your own car at times if you dont really know how to operate it, lol... Other than that, if you park, just make it so your car stands out and its visible to alot of people passing by. Also if you got gadgets, try hide them, alternatively, get heavily dark tinted windows like me
  11. Just mask up your dish right, and youll have no problems! Make sure you sand back the chrome paint on the main spokes, but will look hot once done Number one tip for a good finish, is to always take your time. Dont be impatient as it costs you more time. Total cost was 3 cans of spray ($45) , plus sandpaper ($1.20).... Im not too sure if you did powdercoating, whether you can actually still mask it up??? But this is pretty cheap and effective
  12. Thanks for the comments guys, I found that everyone either had silver or white, and just wasnt happening for me anymore!!! Could have gone bronze, but wouldnt look right on the wheel, but im happy with the black! Looks evil! HEHE, Getting carbon bonnet soon to match the rims and also abit more lowering front and rear
  13. Basically took the wheels off, & knocked out the center cap from behind, as I wasnt painting the center cap. Got the sand paper out (medium grade) and sanded back all the paint on the part that I wanted to spray. After I got it down to the layer of primer, i basically washed the wheel in soapy water, and let it dry. Once it dried, i used scotch tape (3M) to tape up the inside of the rim, and the edging of the tire, to prevent overspray on the areas that dont need spraying. I used an Arcrylic based paint to do the job. It was a 400ml can made by "Holts" and its called "Dupli-color" autospray. Its actually meant for touch up paint on panels of your car etc, however I decided to use it on rims. Shake can well, or leave in sun abit, and then spray it in coats, till your desired finish comes up. Leave about a 10min gap in between coats, as it gives time for the paint to stick, before applying the next coat. Once finished, wait for it to dry, approx 1 day to dry, and peal off all your masking, and wallah! All 4 wheels will take approx 3 cans of spray, ie 1.2L in total. Hope that helps
  14. Hey guys, just changed the colour of my wheels. Previously, they were silver, got bored, so masked, sanded and sprayed them up in gloss black. What do you think?
  15. Thanks for the info cameron, much appreciated. I only put the Vortex in, as I had to get somewhere and it was the only thing around! I believe it was probably the 96ron Vortex, but never again! Flat foot brought up the engine warning sign on the dash... BAH! Anyhow, I regularly use Ultimate, and the occasional optimax. Since the car has been tuned with the Ultimate, I havent actually tried optimax since the tune itself...
  16. Hi guys, I had the dash light come up the other day from using Vortex fuel and a spirited drive! Got me kinda concerned, so I now monitor the knock via hand controller when i drive. Anyhow, I was wondering how do I bring up the knock reading on the PFC hand controller as a Value, ie 20, 34 etc instead of a bar reading?? Is the maximum value that it will hit is 100 knock?
  17. Hey champ, can you confirm if they are R33 GTST ones. Number 2 in the link are GTR style for R33 I think....

  19. Im getting mine off a forum memeber in QLD. I posted it up in the Wanted to buy section and got 2 resposnes. The other guy is selling his to a mate, so I dont know if its still for sale, but you can try to PM him if you like: Tonkotsu Flavour If not, EARLS makes sandwhich plates, but not too sure what size the tappered hole is on the plate. It has to suite your gauge. My Defi one is 1/8 thread, which is supposedly the most common size used in Japan, so the Greddy one that im getting, im pretty sure will fit as I have been told the tappered thread on this is 1/8
  20. I could be after one of these aswell... Sorry to hi-jack... Same place, in Sydney Preferbly in white, but any colour will do, pics also if you can provide Has to suite r33
  21. Hey champ, oil temp isnt too hard.. What you will need to get, is a sandwhich plate. This goes between the block and the oil filter, to accurately monitor the temperature of your oil. Your Oil temp gauge sensor threads into the sandwhich plate to give you the reading of the oil temperature
  22. The Greddy one will probably do the job... I can always try to get the thread changed if I need to. But I have a feeling it would fit! LOL...
  23. He should have posted a price, thats why I offered something very stupid!!! Its not for me, but for a mate... But if you think $700 is rediculous, try dig up one of the old threads on a Power FC on here, and you will see how much I bought mine for including HC
  24. D-Speed R33 (gtst) python Side skirts price
  25. Price please..... If you say make an offer, I offer you $50
