Hi guys, Im after a Sandwhich plate which goes between the block and the oil filter. This is too allow me to tap in a oil temp sensor from a defi gauge. The sensore size is a brass fitting which is 1/8 in size... Has to suite RB25 motor.. Cheers

If you get very stuck, you can always pop round or something and im more than happy to give you a hand taking the car apart... When you thread the speedo/temp/fuel section wiring through the hole, you will need to cut the wire so you can feed it through, as the clip on the wire that goes to the control unit is to big. Cut it, resolder once you thread the wire through & dont forget the heatshrink or electrical tape to seperate positive and negative.

My car has finally gone for the dyno tuning @ Unigroup. Yavuz is performing all the work, and so far it has been a pleasure dealing with them. I get the car back on Wednesday, so Ill let you guys know how it goes & ill post up some dyno sheets. Yavuz let me take it for a quick spin after tuning up most of the base maps, etc, and the car felt so much more smoother as it pulls quite nicely, eliminating the flat spots... They fixed up my timing, as it was abit out aswell. I was quite impressed, but we shall see what happens on Wednesday....

Basically pull off the gear stick surround, remove the dash surround, steering wheel column covers & unplug all the wires going to the Mirror control, clock, air con unit. Undo the 4 screws, 2 which are at the bottom of the cluster surround, then 2 at the top which sit vertical. Remove the surround, then undo the 3 screws holding the cluster in. One in the center, and 2 either side of the cluster. Unplug the 2 electrical leads running to hte cluster, and the whole thing will come out. Remove the clear lens. Very easy as it just unclips, same with the black surround. Once black surround is off, you should know where to go from here. The tacho will need to be removed to put in the factory boost gauge EL dial. Make sure you dont bend the dials as much as you can, cause if they warp, you will find that the needle catches on the tacho or speedo. Hope this helps...

Hi guys, Im a personal friend of z3n2k and I dont think the car had a front mount cooler on it to be honest. It only runs the standard side mount, but he would obviously know more about the car than I do. The car came with a dyno figure of 230rwkw and is a pretty quick car!!! Laggy turbo tho, not after 4k

Which control unit does the tacho come with, control unit 2 or 1? Price of tacho alone?

I guess if the liscence is gone for 6 months, ill prob be really fit from riding my bike as the upside... Question aswell, if you loose your drivers liscence and have a motorbike liscence, can you still ride the bike?

Thanks for your response... Ill see what happens... Ive also heard rumours frm people that you send the cheque, and you pay a lil over to the infringment beauru, and soughta stuffs up the system? Also heard that if you let it go to the State debt recovery buearu, you just pay them the full amount, plus their $50 or so, and you walk away clean, no points lossed... I dunno, we will see as time unfolds...

Does anyone know how much court fees are just for the day?

I know im going to cop all the comments regarding the speed I exceeded by, but it would be nice if someone could make a reasonable response... I would like to keep these details a lil hush... But for your reference, I was in the bracket of 30-45... I know, i so regret it now!!! I dont mind doing the 3 months suspension, but If I cop this fine, it will make me do 6 months in total. ie for the automatic suspension from that speed bracket, and 3 months for loosing my points On the downside if I did loose it for 6 months, I would contemplate selling the GTST. Do I stand a chance if there is 2 different dates on the offence? Ie, the main boddy says: It is alleged that at 11:40pm on FRIDAY (Day) 28.01.05 upon ........ streeet........ you drove motor coupe bearing plates ...... ie "ALLEGED" On the payment section, it states in box1: DATE OF OFFENCE (20/01/2005) Im guessing the DATE OF OFFENCE one is the one they go by, since they are saying you offended on this day, where as the other one states "alleged".... Can anyone confirm this or help me out?

Hi guys, Last friday I had received a speeding infringment from a highway patrol officer. I know, my bad.... Im just querying to see if I can get out of this infringement, as there are 2 seperate dates on the infringment. At the top section in the part where the officer writes the majority of the details, the date is correct, ie 28/01/2005. This section is the Carbon copied section. On the bottom section where it has the payment slip, the officer had written in BOX 1 (Date of offence) that it was on the 20/01/2005 which would bring it to the previous thursday. So do I stand a chance of getting out of this???
