WOO HOO! Just need to get myself a new front bar to match Ill fit it up to my S1 and let you guys know how it fits up
  10. Well this was around 1 in the morning, but since they live on a T- Intersection of a street, alot of people hammer it round the corner at night, therefore they were only thinking it was a hoon of some sought.... Woke up in the morning and the car was gone!!!
  11. Wasnt actually a tilt tray job, huge burnout marks left on his lawn/gutter looping round into a u-turn and 20m up the street.... Owner is thinking its an insider job as the car was only sent for some servicing recently, and one guy was interested in the car and kept asking questions. Then when the invoice is created to the work completed, the owner gave address for the invoice... Hmmmm, its good to have a P.O Box
  12. Not good news, my mates dad's RX-7 got stolen out the front of his house early this morning around 1am (10 / 08 / 04). Car was stolen from the area of Menai in Sydneys south, which is located in the Sutherland Shire. Im not too sure on any distinctive features about the car, however its an automatic that produced roughly over 150kw ATW. A pic is attatched of the vehicle, and it would be nice if members of NS and other forums could post it up aswell since Im not members of those forums. If anyone sees this car, can you please notify my freind Luke on the following number: 0415 602 710 If not, you can notify myself (Jason) on this number/email address: 0423 324 906 or by email: [email protected] KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN GUYS, I know its not a Skyline, however Im in shock because the car had a 3 point imoboliser and alarm system.... **Can a mod sticky plz ?**
  13. A good place to buy some trim parts would be on the forums. You usually get a better buy than purchasing from shops, however if you get at least a cat-back exhaust, youll be pleasently happy with the power before you go further... Just depends what trim bits your looking for...
  14. Hmmmm, i reckon go AE86 hehe Would be a nice non-turbo first car. You probably want to shy away from the line as your first car, because if you put a dent on it, you will pull your hair out!!! Get a basher for your first car to learn, then whilst you drive it, save for the turbo line...
  15. Hey mate, what area are you in of Syd and where abouts is this formal being held? Hmmmm but from memory of doing year 12 last year, usually formal is after HSC (october), but correct me if im wrong???
  16. Hmmmm not to dissapoint but Just Jap do the same bar here in Syd advertised on their website for $550 new....
  17. I prefer my Skyline for several reasons over the WRX. With budget in mind for a car between 15-20k (How much i was willing to spend), I think the r33 was a good buy as its more comfortable inside, and turns alot of heads on the outside. Sure, some WRX's may beat the car if they spent a fair bit on the correct mods, however the R33 has a better feel to it inside and also when driving. My favourite feature of my r33 would have to be Climate control I love it! Pretty sure the WRX dont have that facility...
  18. Ah k, never been to that car park. There is one in China town somewhere, GAURANTEE this car park will make u FREAK! You literally drive 1km/h in there as its pretty tight on the corners!!! Took me approx 3-4mins to drive down 4 levels which you can notice huge scuff marks from front bars on the walls of the downramp. But the maddest thing is that a tilt tray cant get in
  19. Damn, scratches suck especially when your car is pretty new, but at least its not on the body work. Which car park did you park in? My 33 seems to go alright in most car parks without scraping and it sits pretty damn low! However its only a week old with me, and managed to get a scrape on the front bar on some unkown driveway, hehe.. Its the price you pay for the height!
  20. Hey mate, is the front bar and grill one piece or seperate ??? And how much for just the front bar ? Thanks
  21. Well my father did most of the paper work with CGL as im currently at college, however im pretty sure they organised it, they recomended hobbs as it was up the road, I guess you can take it to any Quaranteen but at your own expense. Hobbs was just up the road from Glebe Docks, so thats why I took it there. I guess its best to give CGL a call and make a few inquiries to be on the safe side
  22. Hmmm, well another measure you could probably take is to maybe get a chain and lock for your wheels to get chained together in Japan, and the key sent out to yourself. Are you getting it shipped in a container? If so, you need to be present when they open the container, so no one else can open it. The chain idea could work, cause I doubt a wharfie would be walking round trying to drag 4 wheels tied together. However anything goes. Just try to pick up your car ASAP. Nothing went missing from my car, all I had left laying around was 4 stock r33 wheels in my boot, the shift knob and stereo were sent out in the mail to me from Japan. But just as a warning, try leave your car at Hobbs as minimal time as possible, because it seems heaps dodgy!!! Cheers
  23. Hey mate, I just got my R33 from Geoff @ Prestige and I went through Control Global logistics. Basically no one can touch your car when its sitting at the docks in Sydney. I had to pick mine up from Glebe, and the security is pretty complex down there, so I doubt your wheels will get shafted!!! Just make sure you pick up your car as soon as its allowed to pick up, cause you might have to pay storage fees for each day your car sits there. On the other hand, when you take it to Quaranteen (Not sure on spelling?), thats what you got to watch. I had my Quaranteen done by Hobbs just up the road, and that is so so dodgy!!! I doubt they will need to clean those GTR wheels as I had a set of stock wheels with my 33 that didnt get cleaned, however you can prob get away with taking them home in your car. ie, put them in your car before you take the GTR to Hobbs. And as for security in Hobbs, good luck. They pretty much lock your car up, by parking it next to 2 shipping containers and a wall, then putting another container in front. The money you have to pay for the cleaning and quaranteen is the biggest waste ever, however it must be done to get it cleared... As for control Global logistics, there pretty cool so you will have no dramas with them. If you want any more info, feel free to PM me Cheers mate
