  10. Hey Guys, Posting this up here as I saw an R33 which looked like it had been dumped and abandoned, on the way home this afternoon. Car has been spotted on the side of the rd parked, going north on New Illawarra Rd, Barden Ridge/Menai. Details of the car: Definately a series 1 coupe which is 2 tone. Main colour is green/blue and the bottom colour is grey. It has no rego plate on it and also has a wider version of the GTR spoiler on the rear. These are the distinct features I could pick out whilst driving past. So is anyone missing a 2 tone skyline????
  11. Ohhhhhhh gosh, as Siddr20 reffered to earlier, my old R33 was a victim of the vomit. Similiar situation, work function, free booze and an import was going home, the bloke who threw up was the one who seemed like he wouldnt! Must be once they get inside, the exhaust drone/loudness iritates them @ a certain freqency, triggering some projectile vomit! Anyhow, we stopped and grabbed maccas bags, and HEAPS OF THEM, which helped ALOT! Other than that, there was still vomit on the rear seats and the smell killed the farkkk out of my senses that night! Well i didnt have a carwash like you did, but i got home & pulled the rear seats out, and got a wet rag and whiped all the chunks off... As i never cleaned out vommit before, there were chunks of it laying round, which i just thought id vaccum up with our not so old Dyson which cost like $700. lol... Anyhow, finished cleaning 4am in the morning, and was up @ 8am to fill in for that guys shift as he coudlnt make it, get a phone call from mum who wants to vaccum the house complaining bout the whole vommit smell etc, and i was fumming hardcore! Cut the story short, i bought a can of some carpet stuff, you throw on the carpet and vaccum up.... My car had some weird smell of carpet freshiner and vommit, lol... I got the seat steamed cleaned, and although it was for free cause I know the blokes through my mechanic, i still forwarded a charge to the guy for the inconvenience on that evening. He paid up, and that was all settled. Car never smelt the same as it did before ye projectile vommit, but it was acceptable. tips: 1) Take seats out ASAP and clean 2) Use some sought of cleaning carpet powder and throw on seat, whilst baking seat in sun for a few days if possible 3) Throw alot of that cleaning powder in the car around the affected areas 4) Bill the person for your inconvenice P.S He was lucky the vaccum cleaner didnt have the motor die, otherwise the bill was going to be more than $50

    Tuners

Ill second that... I had my car tuned by unigroup and no dramas for 1 whole year. I had to go for a retune cause I was playing round with the timing and ex cam gears, and changed a few parts since the first tune, but I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. Why? 1) Yavuz knows his stuff, and hes honest with you, and will spend the time to get the job done right, the first time 2) Yavuz is helpful to answer the questions you have inregards to the tuning process of your vehicle, and other queries you may have, staff friendlyness always plays a part in providing the service 3) Most importantly, the price tag is freindly compared to some workshops, and you cant go wrong for the money I had the tune done on my r33, and was one quick car! Ive since sold the r33, and got myself an s15, which is currently being built up for street. When i get my PFC for the s15, ill be going to see Yavuz again.
  13. Stel, you should have told me you were selling this pump, bought one second hand 2 weeks ago for $100!!! But its a good pump, it will go in a 32, 33, s15 since I fitted mine to an s15 and my mate has one in his 33... But very easy to install, and still sucks the petrol from the bottom of the tank which is the good thing
  14. PRICE IS NOW: $1400 Posted ANYWHERE on the East Coast of AUS WITHOUT RUBBER! & $1600 With rubber, picked up in SYD! CHEAP! FRONT: 18X8 +35. Tyre: 235/40/18 (95% tread) Tyres were bought brand new, only traveled 3k on them, and paid $400 for the front pair. Kumho Ecsta 711's REAR: 18X9 +35 . Tyre: 265/35/18 Falken Zeix (30% tread). 15. Cheap price for good rims, good luck with the sale... I bought rims alone for $1600 about 2 months back, and the weights are VERY SIMILAR to TE37!!!!
  16. Thanks for the comments, I used to have the white R33 with 34GTR rims, dont know if you ever saw it, but it use to travel the same route alot in the shire hehe.. Yours looked like it was set up for track hehe... The 32gtr rims arent overdone, just sit there nicely and would aid alot in cornering... Oh the rims are AVS model 6 sprayed in matt black
  17. Spotted this guy on the way to work this morning, all the way from princess hwy to kingsway miranda, I was in the pewter s15 http://www.transelite.net/sau%20renew%20ht...es/PICT0286.htm
  18. Spotted a wingless r33... had fog lights on, and think he flashed me, but this was on the woronora bridge around 5:20pm this afternoon... I was the dude in the s15... Was thinking you were cops at first, haha
  19. I had one of those delta fin cores which I bought when they first stepped into australia. Had it on the car for over a year, and had no dramas what so ever, was pushing 211rwkw. Looks nicer than the typical bar and plate cores, and efinately lighter... If anyone wants to buy my tube & fin genuine hybrid core, its up for grabs as im keen on another delta fin one
  20. On my old R33, i was pushing 211rwkw on the std turbo, with a justjap type 1 kit. Had the kit for well over a year and held up very nicely. It also was used for trackwork with no dramas. Installed many of these kits for people on SAU, and definately a value for money kit. No need to pay the famous brands for their marketing and its not always "what you get is what you pay for" Definately the kit is a easy 10/10
  21. Got the diff??? If so price?
  22. Cool thanks for the input Al. Ill be trying a few things soon. Going to buy an EBC since I want one anyhow for gadget factor and to protect the car from overboosting. Also ill be getting a bigger fuel pump which is needed anyway, cause Im going to up the power shortly by using a PFC. I checked the valve today, its on partial atmo, like slight atmo, but mostly plumback. I do get a fair few shares of backfires tho. Is there anyway to vent more pressure to reduce this surge on the compressor wheel? P.S i dont feel like buying a hks turbo
  23. Thanks for the replies guys, ill swap back to the std BOV and try a different boost controller when I get the chance too Car still has the std ecu, but will be getting the PFC treatment later on I dont know if its full compressor surge, cause I know what that feels like Its just when its boosting, that if you only give it partial stick where it makes boost gradually in comparrison to full stick, which opens it right up, then it usually has this problem. I also tend to get abit of boost spike which aint cool I think im going to purchase an EBC, i used to have the std valve set up with a turbosmart boost t and never had any dramas what so ever in terms of spike and surge...
