  1. Looking for some tips on this one. In about 3000 miles my Cambelt is up for a change, 100,000km. I have the belt, and the know how, however wondered if anyone has got any inside tips on the oddities of this belt change? I will be doing the plug set and ancillary belts all in one hit. Was thinking of getting the digital camera out and taking some snaps to go in an idiots guide. Look forward to any info. Regards Mark
  2. Guys, I have sent this out to as many as possible in two parts as the whole won't go out of my hotmail. Can all who get it and can host it PM me to say it is okay and post here their Links. Regards Mark
  3. Guys, I have been to say inundated with requests. The File is 1.1Mb and some hotmail accounts won't take it. Some of you have offered to host it so this may be the best way round it. I have sent emails out to page one on this thread, page 2 to follow. Can the first person who gets it and can host it post their LINK. Regards Mark
  4. Would anyone be interested in a complete parts list of the R33 Nissan Skyline in word doc format ? Its 202 pages long and has exploded diagrams with Nissan part numbers on it like on the Nissan micro files. It seems to cover the 2.5/2.6 DOHC engines, cars etc. from top to bottom, but alas not my RB20E engine. I have found it a help for Nissan part numbers as they charge you in the UK at the Nissan dealers to find imported part numbers. It was found on the web some time ago, but may not be able to be placed on a website. Not sure what to do with it, lot of info there, not sure who would want it? Mark
  5. Can anyone help me with the Nissan Part number for the OHC belt on an RB20E engine. I will be up to my 65K soon and need to change it. Regards Mark
  6. Thanks for the advice guys, I will look at playing with the easy cheap bits for 6 months then look at upgrading to an R34 GTT, like Dave's. Mark
  7. Can any one shed any light on the possibility to put a double OHC head from the RB20DE on to the RB20E engine I currently have in my R33 GTS ?? What are the steps, cost, agro, etc. What would be my power increase? Is it better to put in an RB25, or does the brake, tyres etc have to go up, as I think the RB20DE is not as big a leap as the RB25 would it too need new brakes etc? Look forward to your thoughts. Mark
  8. Dave, I will check out the exhaust aspect carefully as you suggest, will also look at UK distibution for the Japanese exhauts. I see from your site you have the R34 GTV, how much extra do we pay in the UK through importers and dealers for Skylines ? I would like to upgrade as you have, but having paid more than I feel I should, am a little wary. Is it worth waiting for the R34 range to come into price range or get an older R32 GTR, would value your advice. Regards Mark
  9. Dave, Nismodified, Thanks for the Tips, will probably kep the old girl going for a few more years, as it owes me a bob or two. The filter and exhaust ideas sound a bit of fun. Will they improve initial lift off from 0-2000 rpm, as the car can shift when you wind it up, induces wheel spin at the drop of a hat, but seems flat below 3000rpm ? Dave, Seen your site it proves an interesting read, made feel I was not the only one to have bought an RB20E Skyline  Regards Mark
  10. Hi all, I live in the UK, driving an R33 GTS Facelift, with an RB20E engine in it. I now know that I have the basic Skyline and tuning is poor, has anyone done any thing with a N/A GTS like mine? Any pointers on Induction, Exhaust and those lovely 4-stud wheels. Regards Mark
