Woops, forgot to mention that. It's a 1989 model. 1 more year and you can put it on classic reg if that's your thing (reg works out a lot cheaper). -

After much consideration I’m selling my baby (R32 GTR)..... this is an awesome car and has never let me down. I’ve serviced it every 5.000km’s and sometimes sooner with always the best oils and consumables. Most of the modifications were done by the previous owner and I’ve just refined it to my taste/style. This car has never been thrashed at all and is always warmed up before using any boost and let to rest before turning the car off. The only reason I’m selling is to concentrate on my other projects more seriously (drift & circuit cars) as otherwise I’ll be too tempted to keep spending money on this car. This car is a real head turner and has the best sounding engine/exhaust note I’ve ever heard. If you’re after one of the cleanest and best looking 32gtr’s with power to boot, then look no further. This package makes a very responsive 320kw tuned by Trent at Chequered Tuning. The car is going in to get its front bar and grill re-sprayed on Tuesday (19/02) after an incident with an evil drive through laser car wash which blasted the car at what seemed like a million psi and caused some very fine chips in the front bar. Car has the following mods and most receipts are available- Engine/Driveline/Electrics Rebuilt RB26 by John French motors in QLD Blueprinted engine assembly All seals, gaskets, pulleys replaced. R34 Block R33 Crank Forged CP Pistons and rings Prepped standard rods with ARP rod bolts Custom upgraded countersunk crank girdle Internally baffled sump ARP Main and Head Stud Kit N1 Oil and Water pumps Mild Head Porting with Competition Valve Seats Tomei full Metal gasket kit Tomei Type B 260/9.15mm cams and new cam cap bolts (R34 CAS fitted to suit exhaust cam) Tomei Adjustable cam gears R34 N1 BB Steel Wheeled turbos Full 3" custom exhaust including Ceramic coated (inside and out) dump pipes. Apexi PFC ECU Greddy ProfecB boost controller Splitfire coilpacks Tomei Fuel Pump Siemens 750cc injectors Apexi dual intake Candy red engine covers Greddy clear cam gear cover HPC coated Twin Turbo pipe and Inlet manifold. Dual Oil/Air Separator and catch can system Front air diversion plate Oil filter relocation kit Probably more to list but that gives an idea for now... Exterior Resprayed in factory Charcoal Grey but with more pearl, bonnet was only panel not painted as car had Carbon bonnet on it previously but is still in good condition...car is very, very straight. Carbon Fibre N1 rear lip from Just Jap Satin black front lower lip Brand new Genuine NISSAN and GTR badges on Boot lid N1 front bar vents Interior Very good condition, no bubbling of dash or cracks, seats are clean Brand new centre vent fitted Stock 32 GTR wheel and shifter boot professionally retrimmed in genuine leather with red stitching. All gauges working perfectly Nismo white gear knob Sony Xplod 52x4 MP3 head unit and speakers Immobiliser fitted Suspension Front and Rear cusco strut braces Koni Yellow shocks, circlip height and damper adjustable with Whiteline H/D Springs front and rear, rides nice and firm, car feels very tight. Selby adjustable front swaybar Recently installed new genuine outer lca ball joint Will come with custom made RCA’s for the front which I never got around to fitting and standard shocks/springs. Driveline Recent oil changes on both diffs, transfer case and gearbox using the best recommended fluids. Custom H/D clutch with Billet flywheel (firm but good feel) C’s short shifter Wheels Rare Volk GT-P rims 18x10 all around in excellent condition with +12 front and +11 rear (awesome amounts of dish) Federal 265/35 RSR tyres all around with tonnes of tread left.. I’m sure there is more that I’ve forgotten but you get the idea of how anal I am about the car and how good a package it is. Price is $23k located in Ringwood VIC. Can be contacted on 0415 832 835, viewing of the car will be available after the front bar gets resprayed. No test drives without a deposit in hand! Plates won't come with car. Hey guys, I've always had a very minor weep of oil coming from around the sump in my 32gtr. I've traced it down to coming from the base of the dipstick tube where it meets the block. I pulled it out today and found the lip of where it meets the block is curved up to one side (tried to show it in the pics), is this normal? Also is there supposed to be an o-ring of sorts at the bottom of it? It looks pretty beat up so I might look at getting another one, but I don't think its sold as a separate spare part item, so is the tube the same as any other engine that I might be able to get one out of? Cheers, Joe

R32 Gtr Roll Centre Adjusters
joeyta22 replied to joeyta22's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Negative. R32 GTR tie rod ends are different from gtst and 12/14mm silvia/cefiro stuff which is commonly available. The only adjustable ones available on justjap are the ones in a kit for $950. My mates dropping of the roll centre adjuster plates in the next 15mins, he had to make them out of mild steel as the machine at his work only does up to max 12mm thick alloy, will post up some pics soon. -

Was reading that as 25.5 radius of the circle >.< , thanks again. Now to find some adjustable tie rod ends.... proving a little harder than thought.... -
R32 Gtr Roll Centre Adjusters
joeyta22 replied to joeyta22's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Legend! Thanks for that mate, makes it alot easier on my part. Only thing it's missing is the width of the plate but thats easily measured up off the stock ball joint plate. Cheers, Joe -
Hey guys, When i bought my 32gtr it was lowered via a set of adjustable shock and had horrid bump steer. I have since installed the stock shocks that came with it and it has significantly improved the bump steer but the car now looks way too high for my liking. I'm looking at purchasing some adjustable coilovers soon and want to lower the car again but this time i want to get the bump steer sorted. I know there is a thread on here about what people have used and there are a few options out there, but all seem extremely overpriced to me. At this point in time i would just be looking to sort out the front suspension geometry by way of the adjuster plates and some extended ball joint tie rod ends, basically what comes in this package... http://www.rhdjapan.com/kansai-service-roll-center-adaptor-and-long-tie-rod-end-set-nissan-bnr32-66717 My question is has anyone got a pair of the roll centre adapter plates that they would be willing to measure up for me? I have a mate who works with the CAD system alot and i reckon it would be a hell of alot cheaper for him to whip me up a drawing and get them machined out of alloy. Could even leave the file up here for others to use if this works out. Cheers guys

32Gtr Bogging Down Through Rev Range
joeyta22 replied to joeyta22's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
boost is stable as per pic of the graph in the first post. Im not really able to keep an eye on the boost gauge whilst its all happening, but on the recall feature it makes the target boost. Not sure on intake temp, i did make a shielded air box for the pods with dual cold air intake as it does seem at night to feel alot more lively when cruising around. That being said though, at drags and such it was pushed around and only started up near the line and even during the night it still has the same problem, so intake temp shouldnt be high enough to cause much of an issue i would think. -

32Gtr Bogging Down Through Rev Range
joeyta22 replied to joeyta22's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
It does feel like once ive changed gears (at high revs) that it takes a while for power to pick up again and just doesnt feel very crisp (for lack of a better word). Just thinking in my head, ive heard once before with the rb26's that you really have to roll on the throttle very slowly as opposed to just foot to the floor as soon as possible after each gear change like you would with most other cars/engines... any truth to this, or just BS as i thought at the time. -
Hey guys, I seem to be having a little bit of a niggling drama with my 32gtr and after some opinions. The engine has had rebuilt bottom end with tomei cams + gears, -7 turbos with gcg 1bar actuators, profec b boost controller, power fc and all the other supporting mods make 320kw at the rears. Driving around the car feels great, coming out of corners and such it pulls really nicely; however the problem i'm having is when powering through the gears from standing start (drag race for example) the car seems to really bog down/seem like its over fuelling from second gear onwards. It seems to drive fine, reaches boost and rev's cleanley with no stuttering or anything but just feels really laggy and the power's not there (drag time proves it aswell with a fastest time of 12.8 after multiple passes and i know there are alot of other factors at play but lets just say for arguments sake that it launched great and shifted near peak power each time with very minimal wheel spin). Initially i thought the standard actuators might be the problem, so i bought the upgraded gcg 1 bar actuators and even pre tensioned them about 5mm or so and also purchased the profec b for its gain ability which i thought would help. After fitting these and getting a tune from a very reputable tuner, the car still has the same problem (afr's on the dyno sheet were spot on and boost didnt spike with a peak 18.8psi). After chatting to the tuner, he said to try pretensioning the actuators another 5mm or so as the boost curve did showed it was coming on a little late, and this would make sense of why it feels so laggy/boggy/over fuely. What are peoples opinions? I would have thought that the actuators with a base of 1bar and pretensioning them on top of that already along with the gain control and reputability of the profec b and reasonably small -7 turbos that it would have come on alot earlier. Anyone else had similar expeirience or any idea what else the problem might be?

Nice car mate. Saw this at drift matsuri this weekend. Fkn smokes hard on limiter!! GL with sale. -
Yep cast alloy. Yeah a few friends have had the same idea, i'm more keen at this point in possibly welding and extension on, even tho the helicoil option should be ok, i'd rather be safe than sorry.
-
Holy thread revival!! I've just had this problem with my 32gtr. I've been thinking about going the helicoil option however I'm worried about any left over metal filings left in the sump ruining my engine. Any thoughts?

Hi guys, I'm after the stock rear turbo rubber inlet pipe that goes from turbo to afm. Its for my 32gtr but dont think the intake would have changed throughout the different models. Also after the stock square vent and attached pipe that runs from the front of the airbox to down behind the front bar. Located eastern suburbs, willing to pay for postage. PM me here or msg 0415 832 835. Cheers, Joe

No real point so to speak of, was just to let others know. In recent years there hasn't really been a big modern jap show for victoria. Just hope they dont clash is all, but highly unlikely.

Fs: R32 Gtr Parts
joeyta22 replied to ATLRGE's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
LOL. Mate i have not edited anything at all, i have better things to do than purposely try and start a shit firght over the net, if you had asked me to send the rubber back then i would have. But please; to prove me wrong, print screen in our pm's where i have supposedly "edited" the conversation, i am quite interested to see this now, i think you'll find there was never such message. If you have been in court all week than thats fair enough mate, but when i go and check 2 days after i sent the messages and see that you have been active on the forum within that time but no reply's still and previously saying you will post it off the next day express post, then i think you would understand why i wrote what i did. A simple message saying you are busy at the moment would have sufficed. You have a PM in reply to a refund, but certainly after seeing what kind of guy you are to deal with and recieving "Pull your f**kin head in before you loose it GOT IT" via PM and all your other macho BS, i still stand to say buyer beware. You have my adress in your PM's, it's where you sent the wrong rubber too..... more than happy to sort this shit out face to face if you desire.
