  1. No longer for sale.
  2. Gary, How hard is it to fit the rear camber kit and front caster kit by yourself? I'm planning to adjust the height of my car to 350mm front and 340mm rear, so if I've read right I should only really need one rear camber kit as front camber should be approximate 1.5 negative wasn't it? And are the swaybars a pretty easy job to do? Is an allignment needed afterwards? I plan to get these two later on. So what would be total cost for: 1x rear camber kit 1x front caster kit 1x subframe allignment kit (these are the pineapple rings yes?) Delivered to NSW 2177? Oh and how much are the non-adjustbale swaybars? Thanks Gary, Andy
  3. Hi there people, Well this may be a unusual request but I was just wondering if anybody in Sydney could perhaps let me borrow any kind of suspension they have to suit an R34? Reason being is that I would like to get my coilovers reconditioned and have to send them to Shockreco in QLD. So I'd like to borrow someones setup and just leave the car sitting in one spot while the coilovers are getting reconditioned, I won't be driving or anything on them. Well I thought I'd give it a shot here so lets see how we go. Thanks, Andy
  4. This thread makes me a sad panda.
  5. Still for sale. Just to show how much of a bargain these are: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...9entry1335479 They go for 3100 and these are only 18x7.5 and 18x8.5. Mine are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5.
  6. Might be sold, will post up if it is. Last bump hopefully.
  7. PM sent again Darren, just let me know when to send bud. P.S - have you started or are you going to start a group buy for other Noltec products? Mainly the camber/caster radius rod bushes you were talking about before? I'd be pretty interested.
  8. Hey jmac, I liked your review and your pics! Just wondering: what ride height was that car at and what size are your rims? And to confirm you purchased the: shocks, springs, castor kit, front and rear swaybars? If so what castor are you running on the front now?
  9. Thats strange, mine did the same thing. Changed the bulb and it still blew (2 bulbs actually) so I'm not sure what to do either. Any help would be great.
  10. Thanks guys. Hmm I was just pretty sure that I read somewhere that sometimes cams are under-estimated and somtimes can be used before a turbo upgrade to bring out hidden potential. If this is the case then I might leave cams off later in the list and spend the money towards a tune suspension goodies. Oh and I do plan on getting a PFC sooner or later. Would prefer to have my fmic, turbo-back exhaust, fuel pump, fuel reg and boost controller fitted first though.
  11. Hi there, I've been doing abit of research into getting cames for the R34. Now from what I've seen there are two types of Poncams avaliable for the R34: type A (252/252) and type B (260/260). Going by a few user comments it would seem because idle isn't drastically affected it would be wiser to go with the typeB 260 degree cams? What I would really like to know is: is there anything else needed to fit these cams? Such as valve springs or adjustable cam gears? And would I need to get a tune or require aftermarket engine management such as PFC in order for these to work/run properly? Is it possible to have the camshafts installed with stock ECU management? Thanks, Andy
  12. Hear hear! PM'ing you now bud, cheers for the answer.
  13. Up she goes, anybody else interested? They look great on any car as you can see.
  14. Oh bugger so I just missed out? Looking to get a set for R34 GTT.
  15. So its same spring rates as the Super Streets from Jap but just with different oil valving levels? Hmm I am too tossing up between the Teins or SK's Blistein/Whiteline kit. The teins are abit more expensive at about $1400 but I'm not sure the ones from Jap are suitable for Aussie streets.
  16. Hmm seems my fuel economy is pretty spot on then. Been giving the car abit here and there (more then usual) and I usually hit 350-400kms right before the Empty light comes on - about 50L to fill up full tank. Just hit 400kms this week with less enthusiastic driving and E light hasn't come on yet, should be soon though. So I'm game enough to say I'll be able to get 500kms out of 50L if I drive completely off boost for most of the tank, and definately over 500kms if I use up the remaining 15L. Also, I believe tank capacity of the R34 is 65L, does that mean 15L is used for the reserve?
  17. Yes that one. The most bottom part of your front bar. What front bar is that btw? Looks like factory GTR bar?
  18. Andrew, when looking at the specs of the pumps I'm pretty sure the 040 flows more then the 984. Not by alot, just abit. Will look for the specs.
  19. Looks like TurboX said most of what I planned to right before me. Regarding what exhaust to get: try look for a Jap catback mainly for bolt on issues. Or try going second hand R33 cat-back and then get an exhaust shop to mod it to fit. This is what I did, the R33 cat-back was abit too long but everything else was perfect fit after the longer part was cut. (This is for R34 by the way) For the dump and front, can't go past BATMBL's dump and front pipe combinations. Look to be of great quality and has most things covered: at least 30cm before the split is rejoined up, pre heat coated, and fixed up the O2 sensor fittings I believe.
  20. I've just fitted a Trust cat-back to my R34 and I've noticed slightly better topend, not much more except for the greater exhaust note. When I changed the dump/front pipe (turbo to cat) on the GTIR which already had a cat-back was massive, alot more then when I changed just the catback on the R34. Think of it this way using the simple straw/hose theory, you've got a straw at the beginning of the source of water and at half way the straw suddenly becomes the size of a hose. Even though the pipe has now become bigger the flow of water is still restricted at the beginning. If however its the other way around - hose from the start then suddenly is restricted to a straw, this doesn't sound too good does it? In other words - do the whole turbo-back if you can afford it. If not do the cat-back first then save up for the rest of the exhaust (bigger cat, dump and front pipe) but I personally wouldn't do the dump/front first and have the stock restrictive cat-back.
  21. This is exactly what I'm planning on doing, I've sourced a great K&J tube and fine core and want to use it on the GTT. Now I was planning on doing the above or get one end tank modified so it sits similar to the ARC coole. Now would it better to try to get the end tanks to be of similar design to ARC coolers or would that little bit of extra piping extension (as in Berserkly's pictures) hardly make a difference in lag/responsiveness? P.S Sorry didn't want to butt in but didn't think it was wise to start a new thread while theres already about 2-3 active ones.
  22. Hi there, Are there two different kits for the ER34 GTT? Or is there the only cross-flow kit? Or is there a downflow kit as well? Do you have pictures? Prices would be good as well, PM me if you like. Thanks, Andy
